NYC Best Vape Spots

He had no idea storefronts were open. He said point blank without provocation that those prices (i.e. $167 for that Blue Dream) will not last.
Legally growing at home is the dream for me. To get strains I love and that are easy to grow at home in NYC. Hopefully more people legally grow at home, it might help decrease demand and help with prices.

Basically, I'm hyping everyone I know to legally grow.

He started adding up the fees they aren't taking into account and there will probably be the better part of $100 added on to that.
Sad there will be so many hogs at the trough, and we're not even cutting the feds in yet.

This is the answer, ultimately- make it ubiquitous! Though many will still rely on local farmers...it is work, growing your own...
And we still need to get to a time when we just call it grow, and not have to say "legally"

And an artform.... the knowledge and care needed to produce truly top shelf is beyond the time and energy the average person wants to invest imo.

I'm not sure regulations will allow high rises full of homegrown here either. Even with modern cool running bulbs and equipment it sounds like a recipe for disaster and a water hog.

RIP RIP potato chip.

Good luck to them.

Opening one store and closing and rebranding somewhere else would be easy. A small chain on the other hand is a bit more work.

I hope they stay open. But I'm going to keep an eye out. I've seen places liquidate at ridiculously good prices.

I just don't stock more than 6 months out, as it degrades over time and I don't vape that much.

I've never checked out this store, but I don't go to Manhattan too often these days.
I have, as we all have, our steady reliable rotation of local suppliers.
It's ironic that as pot has gotten so plentiful with better quality and prices,
along with it becoming legal, which is something we've wished for all of our lives,
the world and the country has to be in such bad shape at the same time.

I'm really fucking glad to be honest.

I'm working hard and filing certain paperwork to start the process of launching a legal cannabis business, by the book.

Jumping the line falls under the category of "ruining it for the rest of us", and puts additional transitional pressures on neighborhood dealers.

Finally made my way over to Empire Cannabis Club in Chelsea and oh so happy I did ... true to my italian roots 🇮🇹, I went with my top shelf pick, Grapes of Wrath Smalls 🍇 (on the right) and a medium shelf pick, Gelato #33 (on the left) which I'm sampling right now ... oh so good and tasty ... great quality ... saving my test flight of Grapes for tomorrow night's Ranger game ... GO BLUE 😎

Rangers WIN ... and the grapes 🍇 ... delicious and very heady

even with the expected price hikes we're so so lucky to have Empire Cannabis around ... HIGHly Recommend :spliff:

Anything worth doing, is worth overdoing.
Old time NY classic smoke spot (unfortunately pre vape and no longer in existence)

Any where all around the old Yankee Stadium ... ⚾🥃💨💨

miss it so so much

We smoked a joint or two in the upper decks of that stadium back in the 80's when tickets were cheap and plentiful. The upper deck was a empty wasteland back when one of the only things they had going for them was Donny Baseball. Also, we always parked in the lot that went under the Macombs dam bridge, so several joints smoked there.

Then, "Holy Cow" we had to stop for those cannolis on the way home.

I was the less than 10 year old kid up there with you heckling the opposing teams fans and cheering myself hoarse for the Bronx Bombers.

When the Mets were hitting their stride in 86 I never jumped ship, and got to enjoy the early fruits of money ball's inception.

I still have a Dave Winfield signed ball stashed away and my grandmother supposedly had a Babe Ruth era team ball that my father and his brothers destroyed playing stick ball with!

I can still hear Bob Sheppard's voice saying, "Your attention please. Now battingggg, number 31, Dave Winfieldddd"

I can't believe I haven't talked about this place as being a stellar vaping spot.
The Brooklyn Botanic Garden, truly a gem and an oasis in the midst of the city
I have a close relative who is lucky enough to work there (and another who volunteers) and lives nearby, so I get some opportunities...

Coming soon will be the explosion of blossoms in the Cherry Esplanade, shown below is the Esplanade this past winter, set up as part of a mile-long light show walk that was just super.

These lights were set to music, and moved in changing patterns and colors; mesmerizing and view-able from many fine angles. I stood among a crowd and puffed on an oils pen.

Bravo, BBG!

I had another pleasant experience at the Empire club on Lower East Side. Easy parking, very nice staff and very good product.
I came away with some flower, live resin carts, a shatter/crumble 2-pack thingy and 2 oil carts.

I have 2 small negative comments, for what they're worth.
On the door was sign reading "cash-only, temporarily" and the explanation was that the manager was away for a week, so they couldn't do debit cards. Huh? There is an ATM in the store, but some fees, etc, and simply frustration. Hey, I'm old.
Second, one batch of the flower is on the dry side, while other strains have been okay so far.

It's really great to have an interim option providing good choices and good prices. I also saw a parked Uncle Bud's Bus as I found my way over to the Williamsburg bridge.

Have I mentioned that NYC bridge crossings are nearly always vape spots for me?

A vape spot that is seemingly common is outside of the store. I've seen many people vape there. It sucks that the flower was too dry.

I hope the federal laws change at some point, so that issues like that cash only issue will be less. I really don't ever carry cash, unless I'm about to buy some weed. Or going to Chinatown, as some of their best cheap places are cash only.

Have you heard about the boom on Mizar 5?
You should feel lucky it's just a week, I've only ever seen one weed store around here take card and that was with a hefty fee! I always have to plan my routes when I get more weed to stop at one of my banks locations.

I always dig reading this thread as NYC is a place I'd love to visit like I've been deep in the woods miles from any other human but I've never really been in a city like NY before.

It's a great place to live and visit as well. People are nice here in a different way than most cities. Either way, there's tons of great food and some great views. And I've never seen anyone bat an eye at the smell of weed. Pretty much all of the city is a vape spot in my eyes.

Funny as I've alway's considered marijuana as a strictly cash business. To this day I drop st least one $20 bill every Saturday into an envelope in my stash box to go towards my next supply ... the bills smell of weed but no one ever seems to object to it :spliff:
