Alot has been said about the build quality, or lack there of, the volcano hybrid. I was looking at buying a volcano, and after looking at the differences between the hybrid and classic, i decided to go with the classic because of the well documented aluminum and melting issues the hybrid has had.
However, this got me worried. Is the classic still as much of a tank as its always been? I know Canopy bought s&b and the hybrid is having issues, so im worried they have changed or skimped out on the classic as well. A huge draw of the classic is how safe and reliable it is, often lasting more than a decade.
Does anyone know if they are still good as ever or have taken a downturn in quality recently? Has any other S&B product had issues or is it only the new Hybrid? People who have recently (last year or so) bought a new classic volcano, what do you think?
