It doesn't work right now with my RDK-200. Are you saying it might work with a AC/DC power brick? Im not too good with electrical stuff.

It might work with the lower wattage coil but only if that's what's causing the issue but I don't know for sure.

I don't think I'd make proper use of a portable e-nail to justify it at the current price points but it would make dabbing in the park on a windy day a lot easier.

I thought I would share this morsel of goodness as I am officially loving it.
For your viewing, a quartz birdhouse banger. This thing works great for keeping my pieces clean and also works better than I thought for dabbing. It was pretty easy to position just where I wanted it to sit and the coils weight holds it nicely in place, without being in my way. The only hard part was finding the perfect shape to fill the opening with for carbing. So far a marble or my quartz banger carb cap are doing the job nicely. The best part was it was only $60.00 bucks!!!! I am very happy with my purchase of the 20mm version and would gladly go back for another when needed :tup:

For that price you could buy the Happy Daddy Genesis system and a Auber or Terpz unit and be done. I like the Errlectric stuff and it probably is better than the other units from a temperature control and "Hey, heres a few useful features other systems dont have" standpoint but at the end of the day, its a heater and a controller and when it gets down to brass tax, its going to do the same thing the cheaper units do, it just might keep the temperature more stable than varying a few degrees. The magic with an enail is the actual nail. I love my HDP nail.. I switch over to my new-vape piece every so often but I always come back to the HDP Genesis.

Figured I would spread the love to those of you that dont have enails yet....
I just picked up an slyme incycler at maxqualityglass last night and noticed they have a nice looking enail setup for 139$ and they are offering a 25% discount right now which would bring the cost of the enail setup around 100$. I believe that is the cheapest I have ever seen for a nice looking setup.

Saw this just a min ago. Ceramic banger for 16mm. Available mid July. 50% off the price of you pre-order so only $35! 20mm should be available a few weeks after the 16mm ones arrive.

That's a really nice price on the ceramic e-nail! I'm pretty sure 710Whip/Domeless.com is doing a ceramic banger too but I don't think it's out yet.

I'm probably going to get the new OmniNail regardless of cost, but between the nail itself, the coil, and the new carb cap it's going to be pricey in the end. Though it's also possible I'll fall in love with the SiC Dish and vow off of all other nails but we'll see.

Not sure if it's worth replacing my Gimido e-nail for it yet but I'll definitely be keeping an eye on it. The guy behind it seems really open to suggestions too if anybody has any. He's discussed it a bit more on reddit too.

I checked out D-Nail's Facebook page and they've got some interesting new stuff coming out soon. One of them is an attachment for flower convection vaporizing. It basically looks like a mini Sublimator with a glass base that hooks up to an e-nail priced at a competitive ~$200. They may be able to wire it for other e-nails too.

Looks like an herb only nail. No simultaneous dabs with this one? Looks kinda cool tho if someone tries it I'd like to hear and see some reviews. Not that it will ever replace my Errlectric HerbNail, but it's interesting. A side by side comparison would be cool.

I'll be beta testing this one guys, and will have word on what this is like very soon :D

It is a herb only nail, there is only gr2 titanium exposed here (no kanthal nichrome coils) and I have seen pressure flow diagrams, which are outstanding. I am expecting big things from this.

I can provide more of the good word in the not too distant future :D

Also the design is such that the glass I am told will not exceed 200c, as we can see, the stand is glass too!

EDIT: I will mention that the heater is like 1/3 of the size/mass of a sub heater.

Well, I was screaming for someone to do this a couple of months ago.. tried to get machinists to do it so I guess Im glad someone else is doing it. Least it will be available for purchase.

Definitely brother, it really is about time somebody went and improved the basic Sublimator concept. Errlectric put out their version and it sounds like they really made headway in the taste department, even if it doesn't match the clouds of the sub.

I am reasonably confident that the D-nail people can bring some of that incredible R & D to bear and give us improved clouds as well as the incredible taste that the errlectric has demonstrated comes from the use of glass over metal chambers :D

I do hope that the glass screen isn't all restrictive and is adequate for keeping bits of herb out of the rest of the airpath. Still, they already shelved at least one previous herb nail prototype (this one was sent back to the drawing board around when the errlectric herb nail sprung into being - not that I am making any allegation of plagiarism or anything, this could easily be coincidence as the basic idea already existed in the sublimator lol).

@Jared , thanks again for posting the 710 whip code. It arrived yesterday, and I am very pleased with the purchase. It works perfectly. Definitely nice to plug it in and not have to guess at temp after using a torch.

I wish they had a TI sleeve for their head to fit into the the Sub does. I think the temperature equalization plays a huge role in its efficiency.
