next generation e-nails?

The internal diameter (ID) values of 10mm, 16mm, 20mm are standard though, not sure how much difference coil height makes beyond making sure it fits.
2nd time I misunderstood

My apologies. Been celebrating a little too much with my new enails today for the Super Bowl :leaf:

I will read everything twice the rest of the day. Maybe I'll get it then haha

And yes just making sure it fits height wise is all that matters. Even though my coil is smaller in height I can still get it to stay wherever I want on the barrel. I just place the cable on the top of my enail box to get the coil to stay up top or I just leave the cable on the table and the coil slides down.

I have found keeping the coil near the top allows me to use a slightly lower temp :) not much but like 10-20 degrees F.

I bet if I waited longer after the coil came to the set temp, it probably wouldn't make a difference if the coil was up top or at the bottom. Ti distributes heat pretty well IMO.

Wow, looks great!

Did some googling and there are some 15% affiliate coupon codes out there for New-Vape, won't post them here due to the rules. Probably be cheaper for them to create one for us since they don't have to pay out for it.

The coupon helped give me nudge and I placed an order for the 16 hole nail and titanium dropdown as well as the carb cap. Can't wait to get it!

is high
Yep looks like the caps are 20 bucks, down from 35. I want one and just looked into them earlier this week. Any idea if it will fit on an HE infiniTi nail? I just asked on the IG you linked.

Edit: Got a reply back that it DOES fit the infiniTi.

Well, just in case anyone else was going to get one of these, they do not fit the HE infiniTi nail head as I was told. Majorly disappointed. It won't go down all the way to make a seal so it doesn't act as a carb cap. I just wasted a few dabs trying to get a hit and ended up pulling it off and using a normal cap. The inlet doesn't sit right between the nail "moat" and there is a major air gap all the way around the top. Think maybe I will try to break the inlet nub off so it will go down further.

Just got my Gimido in today with the flat coil and it worked great with my HE InfiniTi! Now if only my 710 whip would arrive... lol

Also, the Gimido unit had the date labeled on the bottom. Thought that was a nice touch. Feels like it was built to order lol more higher end american products should do the same

@Monsoon , do you have any concerns about your heater coil heating up the 316 SS it is sitting on?

from new-vape
All parts are machined from USA melted medical grade 316 stainless steel.
They claim the base on the joint doesn't heat up too much, I'd like to think they put some thought into it. I guess we'll see soon. Glass dropdowns can heat up a lot too but at least steel would snap in half.

-----
So after 2 weeks of waiting and thinking it was lost, my Domeless.com nail and carb cap arrived! No tracking updates after it left the US which was odd but it got here safe. Luckily I ordered both the flat and 16mm adapters because it does NOT fit my Gimido flat coil! Someone in the Auber thread also complained about the same issue. I may try to enlarge the coil but for now I'm using my 16mm.

The good thing about having many different rigs is that some nails go better with others due to the way they alter the airflow depending on how much restriction they have. I find this one to be more restrictive than my OmniNail. This means it doesn't work as well on my FC710 but it seems to be working great on my FC187v1 which needs tighter airflow to function well (IMO of course). Worked out great since it doesn't hit well with any of my other nails.

Currently at around 910F, same as the OmniNail and I have the cap on. I tend to prefer shorter, normal temp dabs since I find they're less irritating. Still playing with it though. My first instinct was to dab through the cap, but dabbing at the top of the hole seems to be smoother which makes sense since it would vaporize as it slides down.

i was talking about the off gassing from the 316SS being heated, to me that would be a concern,
not breaking

if SS of any kind was safe to use to heat for dabs , imo everyone would use it as it is cheaper
the nickle and chromium is what i would be concerned with,
and would keep me from using SS for dabs.
it looks like the heater coil sits on the 316ss part.
again imo

i like this drop down ,and if it was made of ti 2 i would get one.
so not bashing the product.fyi

research would show that if your dabbing at the temps that these metals break down....your dabbing to hot..... and are doing a disservice to your concentrates.

316 stainless steel has a melting range of 1375 -1400°C

even if it was in direct contact with the element you shouldn't be dabbing at even 1200°....

there is also a big diffrence between warming metal up with a hot coil and heating it with a torch which is where the whole is metal safe for dabbing question in to play...

I'd like to own an e-nail at some point. HE had a lot of problems with theirs and took it off the market, I've seen others but have no idea if they suffer the same problems - what would you say is the best e-nail out there nowadays?

Dude i bought a slick super dope E NAIL called the 420 LIFE e-Nail. it was less than $200 and works PERFECT. I even picked up a carb cap while I was on their site

Aargh!! I don't think glowing like that is a good trait for coil longevity. Why is it doing that?
i purposely turned it up, titanium is the strongest metal on earth! i was just proving that the arm doesn't get hot like on the cheap models that others sell. This one is way fucking cool to the touch if you grab the arm even at 710+ degrees... normally you should turn it to 450 or less IMHO but this was SHOW & TELL for me today with my new lovely toy and some tangie shatter and sweet lemon shatter!

Looks like a job for!
You have a dropdown that will never break.
2644-8.jpg

Wait wut? I see a breakable dropdown as a good thing, a disposable object to protect the rig. Then when my expensive glass tips over onto the coil end the $4 thin glass breaks before the joint on the expensive thick glass.

Like the tip cable converter on Xbox contolers, designed to unplug rather than drag the expensive system to the floor when the dog runs into the cord.

Yes, I am well aware what titanium is. At 724 it should not be glowing, that is not typical of the enail I have or the ones I have used.

Who the hell is dabbing at 450 or less?

Do you work for 420LIFE?
AT 450 THE NAIL ITSELF IS AROUND 140-200, basic heat transfer of physics. the hotter e nail will not transfer its full energy to the dome therefore when you look in the photo the dome itself is NOT glowing. and NO I DONT' WORK AT ALL, i was laid off construction, so i grow my doe!

@mfz420 was that 724 C on your e-nail?

I don't think the coil should glow like that at 724 F. Mine doesn't at least. But if it is at 725 C then that's 1,335 F and it would definitely be glowing at that temp.

Are you saying 450 F or C?

Dabbing under 450 C would make sense because that's 842 F. Most people dab around 600-800 F.

I agree with @Silver420Surfer. If you were to dab at 450 F or less, your dab would just melt and not vaporize

it has fuzzy logic programming and is super easy to use. to be honest i didn't buy it directly from i bought it from Amazon.com I truth fully didn't know anything about them and i trust Amazon. Now i trust them thanks to good old Amazon. Now that i used it i feel like a dumb ass i could of had free shipping on their site. oh well fuck it a gram less to smoke LOL

If we go strictly by cost, the things I attach to my glass pieces usually cost more than the piece themselves (thank you DHGate!) so it's a non-issue for me.

I think it's a legit question that's worth asking. Most people stay under 1000F which I believe is well in the safe zone. Might be worth emailing them, I bet they have safety info on it or at least i hope so.

Yeah I was going to ask them about this, but I am sure it is safe at the majority of the temps people are dabbing at IMO. I say this because I don't see why New-Vape would put money into lab testing the chemical composition of the Ti they use in their products to check for its purity and then just say fuck it lets use something that is complete shit for the drop down that is harmful to the user.

One of the employees at New-Vape would like to get a rep account here on FC so he can communicate with us and answer these types of questions.

If anyone has any experience with helping someone else get a rep account on here please PM me. I'm off to read the rules to see how to go about doing this right so he doesn't get kicked off in a day.

So which is it, do you grow your own "doe," or is it "oh well fuck it a gram less to smoke LOL" due to ordering from Amazon and having less money to spend?

Also I just ordered the cheapest package from Gimido for $166 shipped will update when it arrives.

Not that it really matters, but titanium isn't the strongest metal on Earth.
