next generation e-nails?

wow wish i would've re-read this before using my flat coil
Got my post deleted but here's the picture I posted of the analog for those that were interested. Overall it works pretty good with the flat coil but the coil life is shorter then the regular barrel coils. Although you do get better way better heat distribution, you can burn your coil out faster if you turn your temps up high either on accident or just to clean off your nail. Apparently you're not suppose to turn it up past 700-900 ( not exactly sure) but the barrel coils can go up to 1100-1200 with no problem. I might look into wiring a barrel coil for the analog to see how well it works with my HE E-nail insert. Does anyone have recommendations for a decently cheap small tip soldering iron I should use for a Mini XLR? The pins are bit too small for this cheap $25 soldering iron I have lol.
i just burned mine out after like the third use when i turned it up to 1100*F, i was amazed to see it go up that high since my barrel coil only goes to ~950 before stalling; this thing straight shot up to 1000 in like <30 seconds. unfortunately when turned it back on after cooling down it went up to 1100, stayed for a little bit and then just shut off and started cooling down/hasn't worked since. figured i burnt it out but you confirmed it for me, was planning on calling the guy up and seeing if there's anything i can do on monday so we'll see.
flat coil really worked amazing before i burnt it, much much nicer than the barrel, especially with the washers on the ceramic piece. still doesn't clean as fast as i would like but works much much quicker than before at least. the washers also made a nice little heat guard for my glass so it didn't get as hot in the joint

Let me know how the call goes and if he can do anything. Seems to me these coils don't really last too long compared to the barrel coils.

damn bro what temp was it at? i talked to him and he said because they're expensive to order he can't just replace it. i asked where does it say don't go past 900*F and he said "it says 300V on there so you gotta use a volt meter if you're inexperienced, i can sell you another one though"... kinda fucked to tell me that after the fact imo, if i sold these i would make sure in big red letters under description it said "DO NOT TURN PAST 900 OR IT COULD BREAK"I think i managed to burn my coil out too..
another coil came to my house about a week after the first one but it has the incorrect plug on it so i'm gunna try get someone to cut off my first plug (from the broken coil) and put it on the new one.

I thought you just couldn't go to the words DANGER ZONE. I read somewhere on instagram that you had to turn it up to the top of the red then bring it to whatever color you want. That's also what he told me on kik. I left it on red a bit just to see how it was but I guess that was a really bad idea.. One complaint about the dab pad is that he puts a safety feature where you need to turn it up to the red first or else the coil won't heat up. I wish he made it cutoff where you shouldn't turn it (red/danger zone) and heat up automatically after the click (instead of having to turn it all the way up then down). Seems like the safety is a backwards in my opinion.
So how well does this sort of setup work. Ive seen them for a couple hundred including unknown brand nail and im curious cause this setup seems cut and dry.If you want a cheap E-Nail my friend is making the analog units for $225 shipped with a dualiti....

They all work the same to be honest. D-nail's analog, Dab Pad, and the Globoctopus one that you're probably looking at. You just need to find the right temperature setting that works for you since it isn't digital. The difference between the Dab Pad and the one you posted is pretty much just a smaller housing and smaller dimmer.

Friend of mine is actually making these himself without the branding.
They work perfectly, can adjust the temp slightly, can travel easily and are a chunk cheaper than a full box. I know with my friend's at least you can still use the same coil and nail on his full units so it makes it a bit cheaper to upgrade or get both.

I can easily recommend OGCook's friends E-Nail, at least the full-size one. Since I've had it my Herbalizer and EVO have seen little use. His customer support is very good as well.

And I have done a nice discovery that I had to share here on FC!
OK I usually use Joe Halen quartz e-nails cause they have amazing flavors. At first Joe sent me male e-nails so I had to use gong adaptors or have a female joint piece (I own very few as I'm an oil head)...bummer!
Then he made female e-nails and sent them to me...YEEEEHA!
Then a few companies started to do Ti dedicated e-nails or insert nails. Mainly HE and Vapenweiser... I ordered from both companies and was ubber surprised to receive from both companies male nails; The Vapenweiser one fits 14 and 18 and the HE only 18...
I contacted both companies to let them know this is rather silly as many oilheads own several rigs with male DI joints... They agreed and said they were working on it...Bummer.
I was having fun with my parpharnelia when I had a "genius" Idea...:
"would the Vapenwiser head fit on an HE infiniti body in female setup...no I don't think so..."

As far as I know, $250 for the on/off version. $350 for the analog. $600, I believe, for the digital touchscreen version when finalized.

I think I can swing $350. Whats the heat get to on the on/off? Is it only for high temp dabbing? Im mainly interested in low temp only. @Deadshort480

The on/off is one temp and it is supposed to be for quick melting not slow melting at low temp.

The regular on/off ones get up to 700 degrees+ after 2 minutes and top off at 1050. You would want the analog or digital smart dabbs for low temp.
Also a update for anyone that was interested in the Dab Pads, they added a limiter so you can't burn the coils out.
