for you lucky NV early adapters, can you please report back on quality of herb and pricing (much prefer OZ, 1/2/ 1/4 prices).
Gram prices are bad everywhere so makes sense to buy bigger weight.

What's your guess, will it be really high pricing like orig CO and then falling to more like CO current prices which seem very reasonable at most dispensaries.

Go legal everywhere !!!!

It takes a long time to grow more crops. I wish some folks in the legislature in some of these new states to legal cannabis would see what works and what doesn't work. Just check out the experiences from like WA, OR and CO. They all didn't realize how much they would sell. This happened in WA state. Then you have to wait for new plants to grow.

I was hoping I could try out some legal Nevada weed if visiting during vacation. I guess I will make sure I bring enough of my own.

What's really stupid is that some of these legal states don't allow anyplace other then a residence to use cannabis. Where are tourists in Nevada suppose to use their product? In their cars? It's not allowed in hotels.

People that are making the laws in these legal states are often folks that don't understand cannabis and the business itself such as senators and congress people. Many don't have the personal experience with cannabis and the knowledge to be making these decisions for the citizens of their state.

Hopefully CA will get it right.

From what I have heard Recreational residents can only if they are more than 25 miles from a dispensary. Which pretty much knocks out all of Las Vegas valley. Medical patients can grow within the 25 mile radius only if the strain they are growing is not available at any of the dispensaries within the 25 mile radius.

Despite any shortcomings, access is the most important thing. You can find a spot to consume, just like we always did, if you can't then perhaps it's best to consider options like getting a hotel that allows it. At least you won't be locked up. We're still working on things in Colorado too. :peace:

Yup I don't think they thought that one out very well. I have heard plans of an area Downtown somewhere near the "Arts District" where they will have shops and cafe's that will allow using MJ in open. But so far it's all talk I haven't seen anything.

at least there are vaporizers accessible to people now instead of just rolling it up and blowing smoke in people faces as they pass by

Those that visit Nevada or any other legal state and want to indulge:
For those with vaporizers it's easy enough to use cannabis in a hotel room. Be careful and keep everything clean. Have your stash in something that doesn't smell and you should do fine. Bring a scented candle or oil defuser and a little heavy duty deodorizing spray and open a window. If really worried put a towel under the door that goes out to the hallway, if you wet the towel it works even better.

Years ago during the combustion days I would get a smoking room at a hotel and I used incense. You can't get smoking rooms any more in my state unless it's in a casino on an Indian reservation. I would smoke with a little wooden pipe. I never got caught but was super careful. I always kept a window open. Sorry for the derail.

Yep! Not sure if evolab carts are sold out there, but they are potent distillate in cart form. I assume they even have some raw carts which have little flavor/odor.

the bathroom fan worked good too in the last place we stayed.. not all the bathrooms have them though

that is a great idea just hope it does not trend to the point of no terpenes( smell) ... it could trend to lavender strains etc, lavender smell is sold everywhere in everything lol

FWIW regarding hotel consumption....Mariott's Residence Inn has "balcony rooms" that you can sit out on and vape to your hearts content. Or vape in-room and leave the huge sliding glass door open to help with vape scent. Most will usually have outward facing balconies which is what I request when staying there. I choose outward because the inward facing balconies face the "common area" courtyard...which may leave you on a balcony where you can be seen or smelled more easily.

Over the last three years have stayed in TONS of Residence Inns with the same happy results for me. And I always hit up the local walmart and grab a can of ozium as well.

Number of times I paid a "smoking charge" because my room reeked....ZERO.

Yeah question 2 is total shit legislation that falls short of legalization IMO. All they did is create a protected monopoly on Cannabis in the state and arbitrarily gave it to the folks in the alcohol industry who have no logical reason to be allowed to oversee Cannabis in any way. It mine as well be a dental association in charge of overseeing the distribution of Cannabis.

Then when their complete incompetence is exposed by the shelves running out of product in Nevada, Blackbird logistics (an actual Cannabis distribution company that should have been at the forefront in the first place) comes to the rescue to re stock dispenaries but only after partnering with an alcohol distributor for the license to do so.

Its so ass backwars, and reeks of greed that I truely feel sorry for the Nevada citizens. The 25 mile no personal grow rule in the law is all you need to know about what question 2 is... a protected monopoly designed to allow a specific group of people profit at the expense of the consumer.
