Need new portable with pass through charging

I need a battery operated portable that I will also work on AC when the battery is dead. But I also need one that will run off 12v DC and has a car charger.

I'm looking for one for road trips and to take hiking.

I am no expert on this particular brand. But i think you are in for an Arizer Solo or Solo II . They are battery operated,have separate PSU for the passtrough and for charging at least it is so with the classic solo,it can be charged/used with passtrough in a car ,but you will have to buy all the extra accesories needed for the task.
Another one that comes to mind is the Insta-heat a.k.a iHeat .It can run off 12v supply and off a mod box battery which you will have to buy separately + there might be a waitlist on this one .

Mighty is a possibility - can be used with AC when Battery is empty and there is a Car Adapter available direct at s & b.

The only one I have with a pass through is the Vapir No2.

I think the Arizer ArGo is pass-through. I just bought mine and I really love it. The belt-clip and storage for extra batteries and stems is very cool for on-the-go.
