What do you guys think about buying the tip which is heated for the dabbing function of the nectar collector and putting it into a Pinnacle Hydrotube?

Only thing I was worried about was needing to heat the tip while the setup is in a horizontal orientation, but I was guessing that is only an issue because the NC tube is water proof. This would mean I could heat the Pinnacle+Nectar Collector tip in a vertical setup.

i got a chance to use someones rig that functioned like the nectar collector.
i really like it. More than nail type dabbing. It let me better control the hit, like i do with my oil pen.


(perhaps this question would better fit in an "E-Nail" thread)
Is there any kind of flame-less heating options on the market for this type of oil rig?

@StickyShisha --- Haven't seen one yet. BUT, check over in the "thread canidates" area under "Desktop Vaporizers", and see W9 Tech's Enail. May be more in line with what you are looking for. They just started beta testing.

I met Kristian in Denver at the HTCC. Super cool guy, seems really passionate about his creations. Also got a free dab, Woot Woot!!

I am trying to trade my buddy for a brand new(still in box) Nectar Collector 1.0 + one titanium tip. He's looking for $350, which is only $20 less than on the NC website. I could buy a NC version 2.0(whcih comes with titanium tip automatically) off their website for $400. Have we gotten an FC code for a discount possibly? Kristian, are you there?:brow:

I like the 2.0 style better, but the 1.0(Still works supe!) is like an immediate gratification. Decisions. Anybody want to help me make a decision?

I have another friend who claims he is going to make similar Gear stands, already has the gears picked out, and working on the actual stand at this point.

Agreed, kinda steep. Ti is only $10 more, kinda easy to pass over the quartz at that price point, imo.

I used my buddy's NC version 2.0 again today. Amazing!!!
Obviously many new toys are fun in the beginning, I just can't see me getting tired of this for concentrates after the new-ness wears off.(I think there is some analogy or phrasing that I could of used there, but new-ness was all I can muster this dab-alicious Friday night.) Hopefully i shall have my NC Version 1.0 + Ti nail here in the next few days.
Between this, and the new W9/UpTech E-nail, I should be good for awhile.

Proud owner of a Nectar Collector #1177. This thing is an absolute beast. Now I just need a holster, left side carry torch, right side for Nectar Collector and I'll be complete.

I never noticed this thread before, this is seems to be a amazing way to hit my concentrates, though if you want the last version you need to start to save funds.....900 usd!!!

i've had the chance to use the nc 1.0 a few times and it is AWESOME. i use a flared glass straw pretty regularly cuz i can get'em cheap and it's a great way to get those last little dregs from a pyrex dish before i resort to a wash, but it's nothing compared to the water filtered handy dandy dankness the full on unit bring to the table. my biggest personal dab on record was with one of these things, i only had time for one that day and i made it count....boy did it. little pricey for my pocket though so i don't own one. local b&m reminds me of this every time i step in there.

Hi guys I just found a easy way to built your own nectar collector!

I thought, after watched the nectar collector videos, that I can put the upper part of my Vapocane in my DHgate PNWT!

After some tries I can say it's an awesome setup, taste is fantastic but I get some waste at the beginning of the hit....maybe the hot part musn't touch the oil, if some real NC user can help me...

edit: this is the easiest way to dab I tried, no more handling since you can dab directly in the dish and my setup is really cheap (less than 50usd I bet)

They have really improved its designs O.o I didn't know about this and i think it looks amazing. The flavour its the same as dabbing or it's more vapor?

I prefer this way to dabbing, it's more intuitive, taste is better imo, I don't take really big hits but a lot of small and tasty clouds, no more pia handling just put your shatter piece in a dish (a whole gram or more if you want) and you can dab directly in!

The NC is a lot more conservative too, before I dabbed 0.03-0.05 (and coughed a lot!), now with the same amount I can take 10 or more very nice clouds, tasty and smooth (I quasi-never cough with it!).

though it's a very addictive way to dab, I can't stop cause I never enjoyed so much my shatter (since yesterday morning my sr-74 sits unusued and it's still a beast!), I never feel so much the differences of taste and effects between my shatters (actually white magic, sweet cheese and moroccan kief shatters!), the white magic (100% sativa) give me a nice heady high and at the opposite my kief's shatter give you a deep body effect.

I called my setup the Dabocane!
