Narrowed 1st DHV to 5 - TM2, AVLP2, Fury 3, ArGo or Lobo

1st post. As the title says, I'm looking at buying my first DHV. I realize that may be jumping into the deep (high) end, but I'm a buy once/cry once guy. My two use cases (at least for now) - home and travel, so portability and stealth are very important to me. I welcome any constructive or other feedback, and any tips on buying options/coupon codes, etc. Price isn't critical, but I do appreciate any deals. (I've not yet spent tons of time price comparing.)
  1. TM2 - 3.5"x2.5"x1.5, 7.3oz, $349. Wins on aesthetics, pretty decent on size (not necessarily weight). Loses on price. Plenty of other positives.
  2. Legacy Pro 2 - 4.6”x2”x0.8”, 8.2oz, $269. Not as svelte as I’d like, but new model said to be easier to clean (only drawback I found on this sub).
  3. Arizer ArGo - 3.7”x2”x1”, 3.4oz, $119. Winner on size
  4. POTV Lobo - 3.5”x2”x1.1”, 5.5oz, $159. Seems very close to Fury, but more expensive.
  5. HP Fury 3 - 3.5”x2"x1.1”, 5.6oz, $119. I’m thinking this would be a direct comparison to the ArGo, just heavier.
I could easily see me owning more than one of the above at some point. Like the ArGo for super low key/low vis excursions, and the TM2 for home or other less concerning needs. I have plenty of gear addictions, and I don't anticipate this going any differently for me.

That’s pretty good selection. My comments on each.

edit: if you can wait and see when it’s released and reviewed you might want to look at the Frolic by Limelight as it looks like more durable competitor to the TM2 with a bigger battery(21700).

Have one, must have in my book, I’d wait to see when the new blackened version comes out, will have any new updates.

Have one pre-ordered, never tried the LP some people love it, I hope it’s good as they say.

Have one, still use it and love it, the stealthiest portable, I’d wait new version coming and if it has anything like the Solo 3 updates could be kick-ass portable. Old ones can be had very cheap. People sensitive to plastic smells comment that they can taste the plastic, I don’t have this problem.

Had one and returned, HR Rogue superior except for the replaceable battery and the new Rouge 2 is even better.

Never had or tried any version of the Fury/POTV One so can’t comment, the Fury 3 looks like a nice alternative to the Argo.

Thanks. I was 95% on the TM2, then got caught in analysis paralysis, and one in "my" cart at VGoodieZ was gone and they are out of stock there.

I had not seen the Firewood - thanks. I just looked at their site and saw a Firewood 9 and F.A.T. X. The former appears to be sold out, and I could not find the specs. I will do some more research.

Excellent - more to research. I've never heard of either that device or the company.

Before I first checked (and joined) FC today, I didn't know about the ArGo 2, the AVLP2 or the blackened TM2. The quest continues! Looks like the ArGo 2 and AVLP2 might be coming out "soon"? Any idea about the blackened TM2?

I was going to say get a vaporizer ASAP ,if you do not own one ,it rarely worth to hold on for units that are not on the market yet. My respect to the people giving advice ,but they have 10 vapes each probably,for them it is not critical and they can hold on as much as they like .The current state of the market has many great choices , the sooner you start vaping the better :) ! TM2 PH is great choice i love mine to the death, i have special relation with this wood variety and i can say it is my favorite ,you wont regret it one bit .

Agreed. Analysis Paralysis combined with concerns about a better version coming out can lead one to never buy anything.

But since I tend to create my own rabbit holes, now I can get back to the ones that were on the back burner - first dab pen (leaning towards the Puffco Pivot) and a 510 battery that is a bit stealthier than my Yocan Kodo. Cheers!

I didn't spend as much time on the research for the Pivot as for the DHV, but I really liked the Pivot - especially in the mocha.

My aesthetics bent is costing me money. I'm now looking at 510 battery options and the Vessel Compass and Compass Rise look pretty sweet - even though neither one covers the cart.

I only get 1 session, although a lengthy one, from my TMs. I have plenty of spare batteries so it hasn't been a problem. Damn good device !!

I am eyeing on CCell Fino or CCell palm pro :) ! I like the case of the Fino ,but it is out of stock at my go to place .
