Hard to say about that post, but this one seems against the rules..... Since some staff member locked it, discussion of that here is not allowed. The rules (bottom right corner) say:
"Public discussions of staff decisions are not permitted on the site. If you have any concerns or queries relating to a staff decision please take it up in private with a staff member."
I suggest you ask them why.....off line.

No; you didn't do anything wrong. Your post said that you had found the item you were looking for so a moderator closed it and moved it to ABV where it can still be viewed.
