I didnt have much maybe a gram of rosin i put it in a shot glass and mixed maybe 5 drops of ej mix,A half ml of pg and like 5 drops of flavoring.I stirred it for maybe 5 mins and put it in the tank.I only take one hit a night and that has worked wonderfully up untill now after two weeks. When i hit it it feels like its burning the back of my throat and also taste burnt. It hits just like a burnt out coil and not getting me as stoned.

I wouldn't add EJ mix unless I knew for sure it was needed. Something I try to avoid or use the least amount of possible, due to the taste and such.

Going by what you are saying I can confidently say either your coil is bad or the cotton that feeds the coil has become plugged. That is normal and to be expected.

When using expensive high quality oil, I don't hesitate to replace the coil at each refill, they are cheap enough.

I was able to get the oil from the cartride.I heated it up in front of the truck heater and used a syringe to get the oil.I dispensed the oil into a shot glass.I took what i had to the stove and put it into a pot with water and heated it up.I put 1 ml pg and .5 ml ej mix,So now i have some e juice that almost matches the consistency of nicotine e juice but with a golden color. The only thing is i tryed to rosin tech one of the left over rosin chips and scraped it up.I put that in there and noticed a lot of chlorophyll in the mix.I guess i wont be doing that anymore.I havent tryed the juice yet i will let you know when i do,either way.

Has anyone used the evic Mini with its cartridge. I am ordering one and wondering if is should order some of "the solution" to go with it.

I have one of those that had the firmware update already installed to where it is 75Watts. It is a nice unit. I have a blog about vaporizing but never stated the pros and cons about it, so I will say them here.

First it comes with different tanks or cartridges. So, I am not sure which one you are speaking of. Mine came with the Tron tank or cartridge so I will discuss that one.

For e-cigg vaping it offered some of the best taste I have ever experienced. However, there are many downsides. I encountered non-stop flooding issues, that were nearly impossible to clear and it wasted a lot of liquid doing so. Due to the problems I encountered I only used one of the coils and wrote it off as junk. I did only use one of the coils, so maybe with the other coils available it would have been more of a success. Either way, I immediately avoided this tank to even try with e-cannabis because the coils are so small. With a flooding problem and small coils, I did not want to waste any time or money to even try this tank with e-cannabis. With different coils, that could change. They may already offer larger better coils at this point.

Now for the mod itself. I have to give it a big thumbs up. It has all the bells and whistles that I care for. Stealth mode, passthrough, lock mode, and bypass as well as temperature controlled. A great mod, I only have one complaint, the 510 connection. When I install the Tron tank it sits flush, which is good. However, many other tanks, like KangerTech tanks, they don't go flush to the mod, all the stress and weight of the tank pushes down on the pin. It bottoms out, you can't thread it down far enough to "bite" on the mod. It hasn't caused any problems, but I just don't like that. Another good thing I can say that makes this unit somewhat unique is, it is capable of going down to 1 watt. There are units that I can use with adapters that work better below 7 watts. Most other mods do not offer the low watts.

The JoyeTech Evic you speak of will operate all of the Kanger tanks very well. You may want to try the KangerTech toptank mini for your Joye mod. It is offered in black and a few other colors. Don't try the KangerTech subtank mini, they are junk. You can use all of the KangerTech nano tanks, I have used both the top and bottom fill models. They work great on my Evic aside from the minor complaint I mentioned previously.

The mod pictured on the left is the KangerTech subox nano with the subtank nano and some e-cannabis oil. On the right is the JoyeTech Evic 75Watt mini with the Tron tank brand new, unused.

I put the oil i was able to retrieve in a kangertech nano tank with a .5 coil on a mod box. What voltage and wattage should i be aiming for?I have been trying different speeds and i am up to about 17 watts on this thing and i dont think it is putting out enough.Where should i be keeping the holes set at?

The coil should have a wattage rating on it. Start at the low end and work your way up to your sweet spot.

on average between 14 and 28 watts. Keep bumping it up until it is to where you like it.
If you think the coil is plugged, replace it. I have most experience with the vertical coils. I have not had much luck with the others.

I used the kangertech nano and it leaked the juice out.It leaked around the bottom between the part that turns to select the number of holes. The kangertech mini done the samething.Do you know of any way to fix this?

If both of your Kangers are doing it, you could just be screwing the coils in too tight. There's a little O-ring near the bottom of the coil that's easy to bunch up while you're screwing them in.. make sure it's firm, but not over-tightened. At low watts you might also be flooding the coil and just failing to burn up all the juice you're pulling through it.

Right now i am at 20 watts and it sems to be doing the job.It seems it only leaks if it is tilted.Right nw i have it right side up and its doing fine so far 2 hours and good.Do you have any suggestions on a good tank that is known not to leak? Also do you have any idea why it leaks on its side?

I have a Billow v2 and a smok tfv4 with different rba coils. The best result is v2a double coil with .2 ohm 30 - 40 watt on a wismec rx200 or a Tesla d2 dripper with the same coil setup on a Tesla invader

Has anyone tried the new leakproof cubis atty from Joytech?
Im thinking about trying one of those out since both my mini and nano failed me.To be honest i dont even know if coil and atomizer is the same. That is how much of a nooby i am.Can you please explain how the oil gets to the atomizer if the fluid is below it,Or am i confusing coils with atomizers?

Besides the tanks what would be a good alternative with less opertunity for leakage?I heard the cubis liked to gurgle and spit and the coils didnt get hot enough.I did find out the the coils was at the bottom though.

I doubt a new tank is the solution here. I own 2 top fill mini's, and have had them for about a month now. I use one of them daily for e-cigg and e-cannabis and have not had a leak yet. However, with the nano, I did actually encounter my first leak after months of constant use. I noticed that I did something different and maybe that is why it leaked. I had the air intake set all the way open. Normally I keep it choked a little. I set it back to two holes lightly choked and it has not leaked again. Maybe that is why my topbox mini has not leaked, I keep the airflow choked a bit too.

If you like full airflow, just remember to choke it down when you are done. I am just guessing at this point that was the problem.

I am a fan of the vertical coils. With e-ciggs I like the 1.5 and 1.2 ohm. For e-cannabis, I like the 0.5 subohm. I cannot speak for the other available coils, I have not used them.

I will say this, the bottom fill mini is junk in my opinion.

Automizer or coil: An automizer is a type of coil. The liquid is absorbed through the holes that go to the cotton inside. The cotton feeds the coil or automizer. If your watts are set too low, it could cause the coil/automizer to flood and thus, leak.

My Aspire Atlantis is doing great for me.
No leaks whatsoever in the time I've been using it (couple months) and it works great with the 0.9 ohm kanthal Vaporesso cCell ceramic coils I'm using.

Some might find the 2ml capacity limiting, but I only use this rig for full-on stealth situations (and I'm a lighweight) so a full tank has lasted me the best part of 3 weeks, despite passing it round on occasion.

I even left it balanced upside down on the drip-tip for 2 days by mistake, and only found a tiny ring of juice on the surface it was resting on.

Vapeur Extract 1-5 ratio, plus flavour.

Good To Go

I can't wait to try the ceramic coils. There are aftermarket ceramic coils now available for the KangerTech mini and nano. They have RBA and vertical coils.

I have the kangertech mini tank and the top and bottom fill nano. They both leak in the same place.Through the airholes and all over the battery. It does it with every coil i put in it.I had been vaping at 20 watts and the juice was kinda thin.I dont know if that has anything to do with it?This has scared me from trying them again so i took the leap and got the cubis.I would rather do more priming than have my e liquid leak away.I had a little left in the nano tank the other night. The level was below the holes in the coil.I tilted the tank just a little so the oil would reach the cotton and bam dripped out the airhole. It made me so mad.

Cool, are you talking Vaporesso, or someone else?

They are from LeCig

I was looking at others as well, but not sure who makes them.

It is a possibility that your juice is too thin.

I started out vaping in my first nano at 70VG/30PG. Slowly I made it to 100% VG over the past 6 months. Mine has only officially leaked once. I believe it was due to leaving the airflow holes wide open.

I have doing some research, and have found that leaving the airflow wide open offers the potential for any brand tank to leak. They recommend to close the airflow, even when filling.

I understand where you are coming from. All I had was problems with the original mini even though all the reviews said otherwise. Sorry you had so much trouble. Hope your new unit works better for you.
