I figured I would post this, start some conversation. What are your must watch Christmas movies?

I am a family man clearly, and these are my 5 must watch and then I have a very special 6th.

No particular order:

- Home Alone 2 - I have a thing for NYC and central park in the winter.
- Jingle All the Way
- Christmas Vacation National Lampoons
- Bad Santa
- A Christmas Story

My final, that 6th I was talking about, Die Hard.

Hi,
This is all about French movies for me :
-les bronzés font du ski
-le père Noël est une ordure

i’m not aware of an english version of these but english subtitles must do the trick 😜

ELF is a modern classic I go to. OG Home alone is an old favorite. If I really want to go back to my youth the claymation version of Rudolf the RedNose Reindeer is a great memory.

Anything worth doing, is worth overdoing.
In addition to the ones already mentioned here, I'll add :

Any of the "A Christmas Carol"s, particularly the 1938 version with Reginald Owen.
The Man Who Came to Dinner
The Bishop's Wife
The Year Without a Santa Claus (Heat and Snow Miser)
Miracle on 34th Street

and although it has been a few years, how can you not add It's A Wonderful Life

Oh yes. I forgot A Christmas Carol. I go for the 84’ version.

LOL. The Bishop's Wife. Parents love that movie.

I grew up right outside NYC...waited every Christmas for WPIX to show March of The Wooden Soldiers. Loved it as a kid along with my love of Laurel and Hardy, also.

A true lifetime ago...

A great one!

Ollie - "You've got to stay here. You're married to Barnaby now."
Stan - "But I don't love him."
