Music from the mid 60's to late 70's (when creative genius reigned..)

I loved Dr. Demento in my earlier years; The 1970's were very good to me.

Good times. Thanks for the flashback.

The 70s were a special period, together with the 60s. I'd say 63 - 73 was the height of musical creativity and genius, at least since the classical period of the Renaissance. The early 70s in particular were halcyon days of musical excellence.

Catholic Girls
with a tiny little mustache
Catholic girls
Do you know how they go?
...
ALL THE WAY
That's the way they go
EVERY DAY
And none of their mamas ever seem to know
HIP-HIP-HOORAY
For all the class they show
There's nothing like a Catholic Girl
At the CYO
When they learn to blow
They're learning to blow

Hehehe, Zappa never fails to make me smile...
