Have you tried dual screens yet?! Do you have a PA? I'd love to hear that the dual screen idea works out well enough.. I really wanna buy a bunch of these
That is nice!!!!! I'm going to start hitting it without the tube for discretion. Great idea!!! I liked the maud dib but hated putting tiny bb size dabs. This will fix itI love the idea, Buildozer! I recently got my Connoisseurs' Club Walnut Muad-Dib along with the set of 3 extra screens and some new Glyph Batteries. I don't own the Power Adapter, but I found the batteries completely rocked for running dual screens. It seemed to heat up just as fast as normal. Of course there may be additional wear on the device, so experiment at your own risk (although the MD is warrantied of course).
I made a video showing it off. What I like about dual screens is the increased surface area. The box works best with small dabs, and this setup allows 2 small dabs simultaneously. Or 2 large dabs as I tried in this video, and much to my glee it ran like an olympic athlete. However, I did have the issue of having my technique be thrown off—I wasn't getting the whole vapor amount in one breath, as you see. I was overdoing the quantity in my excitement. My anecdotal evidence is that it definitely works, just be ready to eat through your concentrate supply twice as fast in a cloudy haze.
I say walnut
I actually got a few extra when I purchased it. Maybe it was under accessories but I have two extra in a plastic containerJust beware of throat-burn if you decide to hit it without the whip. Gets very hot!
I was only connecting the walnut dart stem for the sake of the video, normally I keep it on the end of the rubber whip.
As for the old screen, I let it soak it ISO but it's still pretty gunked up. It's nice to have extra screens handy, but it's not a must-have considering the M-F warranty, unless you want to give dual screens a shot, or want to keep a discrete screen for kava or other spices.

i'm looking around for a case that could hold a bunch of individual dabs
I love this video. Did you pulse in the PG when you put in two baskets. I'm wondering if I can get more vapor that way. Sometimes, mine pools up probably because I used a lil too much. But when i open up the lid to do a dry burn and thick vapor comes out. I think if you use too much, a second hit is good. Even though they say it is a one hitter, I realized that I should pulse it in or take 2 hitsI love the idea, Buildozer! This is what I got my roommate for Christmas! Of course the tie-dye coloring might not be for you, but I especially like that it has two holes to hold dabbing tools. It's like a little silicone artist's palette.
Regarding just using the stem, I've had some success with drawing in outside air simultaneously, but overall I don't find it as pleasant as using a MFLB in native mode or with a stem.
I would recommend a Pelican 1010 or 1020 case and being leak proof it keeps the smells in and is pretty indestructible! I recently used mine and it is ten times bette then any other wax form I've tried before.. Hot dam! I've noticed speaking of batteries Magic flight has a reoccurring problem with battery chargers arriving as duds :/ . I also have a regular magic flight so that charger saved my butt. I also saw the post about using the wooden tips and I remember people recommending to not hit direct without the tube.. Nice to know the wood flat tip works as long as you also draw in outside cool air as you draw.. I doubt the difference of round or flat wood tip stems matters but I'm trying to decide as dragging the whip around sometimes gets annoying and cumbersome (for me anyways) like a balancing act always. Just a tip of a paper clip amount and wow OG Kush was my master all day.. This box is no toy! Lol also I don't know but on the Maud dibs that do not have a removable screen will the new clip on ones work on the older models? (Sorry if this is a previously answered question)i just got my muad dib, and it's pretty awesome! but i'm curious:
how snugly does your battery fit? mine is pretty dang wobbly
also, how well does the tube/stem fit? mine does not hold at all, it has to be held in place. very very loose.
Otherwise, very smooth hitter. way better than the disposable pens i've been using, though those were pretty solid in their own rite. and i love how tiny this thing is! much smaller than i'd imagined. really glad i got this so far
also forgot to reply to this, this is very very cool. This is exactly what i was looking for, but since i'm going to be packing around a couple AAs in a 4 AA case, I'm gonna get these and use them to hold my concentrates:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AKUFH0I/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A1K1GZBET9SYK6
one can hold a tool maybe too. it all fits in a little case i got at sears for a couple bucks. i'll have my eyes out for compact cases for the muad tho. Cheers!
had to upload some photos.. the case with stuff in it fits in my front jeans pocket! also, it has a fuzzy interior to protect the lens of the muad. This is where you can buy it:

not bad i suppose, better than no case. would be nice to get something with more character at some point, but it may be a while before i find what i'm looking for
I found another case! This time lying around my house, came with my Go Mic:
http://www.amazon.com/Samson-Mic-Portable-Condenser-Microphone/dp/B001R76D42/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1419504801&sr=8-1&keywords=go mic
if you're really into the case, i do highly recommend the mic, so it's a win win if you need one. Picks up sound from the entire room, if you want to make calls and walk around the room. anyways, pics:
more portable than the other case, for if i don't mind having everything seperate. which will be nice for concerts n stuff.
Random question but is brass safe to withstand the heat? I have heard rumors that there could be lead. Not sure but just curious to what you all think.
i'm having trouble deciding what one to choose!
from left to right: mahogany, black, walnut

Thanks 1800yolk!
Quick question, on my unit the times I've used it this far I've tasted a bit of plastic from the whip... Anyone else? How long before that goes? Am I engaging the battery to long? Can I with a MD? I know with the reg MFLB too long risks combustion so I'm wondering if anything like that applies to the MD as well?
What do you guys use most as a good tool to get a little dab and place it on the screen without feeling nervous your going to break it? Lol I don't have the model with replaceable screens... Could I use a replaceable screen from the new models on mine if it ever does tear?
Sorry, I'm full of questions today guys
I bought the connoisseurs club box and it came with the Muad-Dib Loading Spoon. I really like the design, it's rounded and not going to poke any holes in the fragile screen. Ultimately I prefer using a syringe or squeeze bottle the most, but this isn't usually feasible. Also, I bought the 3 pack of Muad-Dib screens and put one up on ebay in case anyone else wants an extra but doesn't want to buy a 3 pack. I do this as a courtesy, and will not be direct linking. What do you guys use most as a good tool to get a little dab and place it on the screen
the screens are so cheap that it couldn't hurt to just order them to find out. I seriously doubt they wouldn't..
Also, I tend to use 2 paperclips. one to hold the dab, one to scrape it off onto the screen with. That way it just falls into the screen. Dunno if this is the best way but it seems ok
Dunno about the plastic taste, maybe you should rinse the tube with water and let it dry to see if that helps
also, i don't tend to need to hold the battery in for more than 5 seconds.
happy dabbling

I wouldn't worry too much about looking like a junkie. Even my mom uses plastic syringes for musical instrument repair, she fills them with glue.
I was referring more towards pre-filled syringes. If you're filling your own, I'd definitely do some research to make sure it'll work. I can imagine there being suction problems with crumble, but maybe you could gently heat it first.
Has anyone removed their screen and soaked it in isopropyl alcohol? I'm still waiting to hear back from M-F about that being ok to clean it. You can see the difference between my first screen and the one I just popped in (which has only seen one use so far)
After a few weeks of trying the dual-screen, the only negative I noticed was that it's a bit harder to scrape off concentrate because there's less room to navigate the spoon if it's super sticky.
