It is pretty cool..

Other than supporting MF and also having their life time warranty on it, I can't really think of any advantages over a pen.. The MD is pretty conservative and IME the screen can only hold a max of ~.05g w/o spillage.. I've been curious whether dual screens would work out well in it.. I imagine it would need the PA to have decent results.

I might order one of these tomorrow. But I'm curious what good alternatives to this are? I'm open to getting a pen, but I'm not sure if the reliability and performance of this little sucker can be matched. Especially for the waxy concentrates like budder. Thoughts?

I just got my Muad-Dib the other day, and finally got some more Wax yesterday. I am really liking it so far. You can take MUCH bigger rips than any of the pens I have tried.

Should I start inhaling slowly before pushing in the battery?
Or
Should I hold down the battery, see it form vapor and then start inhaling?

The instructions tell you to start inhaling before pushing in the battery, however as @pakalolo said, I seem to have better results so far waiting a moment before inhaling.

honestly there are so many factors.
i say trial and error is the best way to learn.
just go for it!

If you do you'll most likely take that herb right to combustion and ash. That little strip of screen gets way hotter then the Launch box screen. the maud-dib is made for full-melt concentrates, like doing a dab and that takes a lot of heat.

Magic flight makes The Launch box for herb( and ALL concentrates with the trays) and the Maud-Dib Only for Full-melt concentrates, you don't wanna try it with bud or pressed hash/kief IMHO.

I need a small portable dab rig. My O-phos is great, but mainly for use on the go.

Nail and all doesn't really appeal to me.

I use the Vapman with the screen for my beloved maroc (ping @axakal), and it has finally solved my problems regarding vaping old school import hashes.

Would this fill my dabbing needs at home, or should I stay with the pens?

I beg of thee thyne answers o great dabbers of FC!

I used this a lot. It is a great product that will stretch your concentrates. You really only need a bb sized pellet.

What dabbing instrument should I use for thick oil? It will be hard to get that tiny amount needed for a dab without waste.

Shatter is easy because I can roll it into a ball. Thanks for suggestions for dabbing instruments

I checked it out, but this is specific to the maud dib. Most of the tools are for nail and rig. I wonder if I can fill some type of syring, maybe like what they use for kava oil

How is the taste using oil this way versus a ti nail ?looks like a much lower way to vaporizer oils through conduction compared to dabbing

Oh I getcha :) my bad, read it wrong. I would think it's about the same, but I wouldn't know, I'm still waiting to pick one up..
