But it's a shame the actual technology is so outdated. I can tell from how bright the screen gets that it looks like it will make very smokey tasting vapor:

I was going to purchase the maud-dib beta but after all the reports of very hot cough inducing vapor I think I am going to pass.

The only way this device would work for me is as a bong attachment to cool and condition the vapor. Coughing is not what I am into.

I have a MFLB with the PA 2.0 and the mini-bubbler which using is like wearing a straight jacket to use, it does work. This solution would suck big-time for the maud-dib because there is to much shit to deal with.

Drilling a hole in the bottom of the device at fit to a bong was BRILLIANT and should be manufactured with an eye towards this as a solution. A simple plug could be fitted on the final maud-dib to plug the hole for non-bong use. After all the thing is in beta so just do what NEEDS to be done. Otherwise I am looking for a different solution. Peace.

Agreed ... I think magic flight should release a WPA that is all glass. It should fit into the stem hole and then do a 90 degree turn into a gong joint. This would work the same as Stu's setup but no drilling necessary ...

There are some 90s that'll work. I know someone that uses his Launch Box with the "infamous pipesDaddy vapor bubbler"and no whip The box mates to the glass whip adaptor like it was made for it.

This mod is awesome and I'm quite tempted to do it. Or at least see if I can have a glass stem made with a 90. The box Does hit a bit hot and the tube collects a lot. I still think it needs some more work. Still need to to try it with a Water pipe.

Drawing air through the box, helps keep the glow at bay.. I personally back off the power if I see it start to glow.. I try to keep it just before glowing, just like w/ the Ti nail..

They used to make the WPA, which I think would be perfect for the MD.. From what I can tell so far, IMO having the air flow down under the screen, rather than across it, seems to greatly reduce the risk of spillage..

Another Question, as most people that dab know "full-melt" is rarely 100% pure, there is usually a micro amount of carbon left on a nail, even with oil. Does the MD burn so hot that, if this built up, you could just brush it off of the screen after it cools off, or is there another method for cleaning?

Just got mine yesterday. I'm not sure why you guys are having such harsh hits. Not to offend anyone, but could it be the quality of your full melt?

I have access to extremely pure high quality BHO, and I tried the smallest dab (which I thought would not let me feel anything at all to be honest)..and while I noticed it was the tiniest bit harsher than my mflb (but actually not as harsh as my G Pen), it tasted amazing, was fully gone in about 2 seconds after battery engagement, and got me ripped for several hours. I used to included whip.

Based on initial experience, this is going to be my new favorite personal possession for a long time to come.

Also, how have people been enjoying the Kava Oil it comes with? Never tried it before, what can I expect?

Vicki~ I used the VaporBrothers mini hydrator 14mm adapter to attach a small amount of silicone tubing to the glass mouthpiece on both ends and then put the adapter in the bottom of my PNWT when I want to use that option..

We're all stoners playing w/ toys, as Stu likes to put it.. LOL I think that's a good way to put it.. It's always fun rigging experiments up, and testing stuff out.. IMO there is almost always a way to rig any vape up to do what you want, depending on how far you are willing to go .. The Modd-Dib is pretty sweet.. I'm glad that it happened.

Thanks. My Maud Dib box has a big build up on the bottom, under the screen. I'm always scraping it off.

Yeah, using the LB or MD w/ glass seems to be more of a 2 arm operation for me.. I forgot about your arm.. You'll get a good one arm system going, you just need a little time to adapt!

I have never cleaned mine.. I have only used clean extracts in mine and my screen is still fine IMO.. I don't know how a good Full melt would do in there, or if you would be able to burn it off well enough.. I would try it out if I knew where to find some.. In my area, I haven't seen any find full melt or any bubble hash at all, for a while now.. It seems like most all of places near me only carry wax now, if any concentrate.

Do you hit it kind of fast.. Maybe try to hit it slow? I suspect that the air intake being to beside the screen, combined w/ a rapid draw, may be encouraging more leakage.. It almost seems like it could be being sucked over the edge of the screen IMO.

I must admit with my recent physical therapy and new limited range of arm motion I forgot you were still in a cast @Vicki perhaps a little easier if you have a regular bubbler (I think you mentioned one?) compared to the two-handed operation of a MD and PNWT.
