A matrix perc provides a lot of diffusion for a single. Whether you want more or less is up to your personal preference, so only you can answer that question.I have an Ion Matrix, question though, where can I find a quality ash catcher that runs straight up and down like the one in the video max posted?
Is it a crime that I've been using it without one?
Do you find that it's hard to clean? I've always felt that it's one of the easier pieces to clean that I own. I let a friend smoke out of it for a weekend with no trash catcher. Did get nasty, but a Grunge Off soak had it back to 100%. Definitely didn't want to vape out of it before it was clean though!I wouldn't want to gunk up a matrix perc with tar resin like that. You would be cleaning/scrubbing it, after every use.
If you haven't already, check out the Glass 101 thread. And enjoy that mobi!I don't know! Honestly I bought it after searching for the perfect piece of glass at my LHS, so I literally know nothing besides "surface tension". If you can offer advice, please don't hold back!
Took me a while to figure out that FC watermark wasn't a custom sandblasting on the glassA matrix perc provides a lot of diffusion for a single. Whether you want more or less is up to your personal preference, so only you can answer that question.

IMO, It certainly seems to be close to a perfect piece of glass, and as such I don't think an a/c is necessary. Get a carbon filter if you want to keep the Ion clean while combusting. Oregonglassblower on I offer does a really nice carbon filter for the price.
Thanks for posting the link. On the phone and couldn't think of a way to do it in less that six steps.
Not to derail the Möbius thread further, but its worth mentioning: if you need other stuff from Mike (OGB), just buy it up front, he'll likely give you a deal on combined items.Ayoo! Great post BigDaddyVapor! Thank you :]
So me matrix is 30 miles away in the UPS clusterfuck. I txd my delivery dude and he'll drop it w/ whomever is home in the neighborhood cause we's working all week and the weekend too.Yes, me & my driver txt each other. The last time he handed something 2 my SO, dude said..."he's at it again."
I don't think they deliver on Saturday. Actually 4got 2 ask driverdood.
I've been known to pass my delivery dude a beer or two in the past. Used to work at an office that had great Xmas parties... The ups and FedEx guys would coordinate to drop off there last and join the party. Have fond memories of being in a small packed photo darkroom blazing a j with good friends and the people that bring us our needs and wants.
Oh yeah... Not To derail the thread so I'll bring it on back... I want a matrix ion soooooo bad!!!
Now I want a charcoal filter. What does it do to vape taste? My solos smudge glass something terrible.
Yes, I use screens...
Goatpussy???
BDV,,,I never paid attention,,,and it was you that brought that to my attention. I think you're right. And if they were'nt going to keep that one, I wish they would have at least kept the taller can. They should have kept that design.
I just got my 65t and I'm kind of confused. I filled the perc to just above the top of the stereo matrix, but the water level keeps changing a bit after each hit. Sometimes the water settles back to where I filled it, sometimes it's about a quarter inch higher than I filled it, and other times it doesn't cover the top of the perc and leaves about a quarter inch uncovered. Would this be due to a defect or am I not filling this this right?

I'd say double, but what do I know?Do you consider the stereo matrix a single perc or a double perc piece?
