I recently started getting more into vaping in an effort to cut down on smoking so much bud. I’m trying to just stick with cbd-only products for a bit, of nothing else for a tolerance break, but also hope to see some improvements in my motivation. Anyway, I’ve been getting my cbd from CBDistillery and I just bought the KandyPen RUBI. I’ve been kind of just arbitrarily mixing cbd terpsolate with mct oil this past week (maybe 1:1 or 1:2), but was hoping to find some guidelines on a good ratio to work with. If anybody can point me in the direction for such or offer their own mixing recipes, I’d really appreciate it.
I was also wondering what yall’s thoughts on and experiences with using mct oil as a carrier are? I’ve noticed a slight wheezy cough after vaping with it all night, but it goes away pretty quick after my last puff (maybe 20 mins). Is this common? I’m assuming it’s the mct, but am hoping it’s just because I’m using too high a ratio of mct:cbd, or maybe just low-quality mct oil. I’m a bit concerned about the byproducts of vaping PG and VG, whereas I feel more confident of mct’s chemical stability based on my (limited) chemistry knowledge. Nonetheless, I am getting this cough. Any insights on this would also be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
