Well, as I stated in my last post, I was going to contact Vapornation today based on the report in this thread that the eta for 'newest' version of MV was still an unknown. Vapornation verified that that is still the case as of today. They have no idea when at this point and I was told they are in constant communication with Hermes because they (VN) have fielded many calls with the same questions I have. I was told that the last info they were given was first week February till maybe second. We both had a bit of a chuckle since that time was now and no further info was available.
I asked if they had any existing inventory and was told yes. A couple gold versions and silver. I then asked if they were willing to send me a silver (my black and gold versions failed....my gold of course was the only one he recalls being sent back for failure....go figure
) and they were more than willing. It's from the last batch they got end last year, same batch as
@lazylathe got his from, and seeing his has been working ok I agreed to have it sent to me. VN told me not to worry if this unit somehow craps out like the others I've had and a replacement would never be an issue. Other than the slow turn around time it takes VN to process warranty returns/replacements they have been honest and up front with the situation. That leaves me with good feelings towards them.
Hopefully I'll have it by end of week and it's the keeper. Three's the charmer, right?
