MFLB UFO or Bottle Rocket hacks?

Hi Folks

here with another set of questions, I recently found the MFLB UFO and Bottle Rocket on sale at a great price. Anyone have good experience using those items NOT with the MFLB? I don't own a MFLB but I would like to modify the water tools so it can be used without the hose to connect with either a vapcap or grasshopper on the go. Both of these filtration devices look very compact and simple and useful. Recommendations and photos would be greatly appreciated.

I'm in the same boat as you. You should see @paytonpenn videos on yt. He uses a UFO with a UD, but it'll warp the downstem. I tried finding someone to make a glass downstem for it, but no go. I guess it depends on what you're hooking it up to to see if it's too hot for the acrylic.

Beat me to it.. but I suggest..

A MFLB wood stem (acrylic can warp from Hopper heat) http://sales.magic-flight.com/wood-stem-maple/

Maybe the 14 to 18mm glass adapter http://sales.magic-flight.com/14mm-to-18mm-glass-fitter-for-wpw/ and some silicone, sadly I cant give you the size for that.

Otherwise with the wood stem which I cut a bit to make shorter and a bit of silicone protruding from the wood is fine with the Hopper.

Although I was just using my UFO with the glass adapter and Flowerpot way more convenient, but it didn't work with my Hopper mouthpiece as the mouthpiece reached too far and wouldn't seal.

I prefer the Firewood and MistVape with the Bottle Rocket as they are easiest to just mate to it. Bottle Rocket is far superior to the UFO which is awkward, hard to clear, topples to much and doesn't actually stay on the cup and just rests on the cup..


Here's some videos.

- This one I have a small bit of silicone that is flush with the top of the UFO I apply pressure with the Firewood to seal it.

- MV OG is a lot cooler than the Hopper so you'll see I actually have the acrylic mating, although its definitely warped a bit.

- UD is silicone + wood to the taped 14mm end.

I've got a few more videos with the Bottle Rocket and UFO but these pretty much cover what need to be seen.
