Hey,

I'm new to vaping, I just got an Arizer EQ and I was wondering if you still get all the benefits of the cannabinoids when vaping.

I know that THC is present around 185 C but am wondering if I am vaping in this safe zone under 200 C which eliminates the bad combustion chemicals am I also inhibiting the release of the other good substances found in cannabis?

I read somewhere, don't remember where, that toxins start being released at 194 C.

I am wondering the same thing in a way. I currently like vaporizing at the point right before combustion to get all the cannabinoids which help produce that mellow high for me. I am thinking that at the point of right before combustion you still get a whole lot of less material entering your lungs at that temp. It certainly has got more toxins than at a lower temp but a whole lot less than combustion.

If you have a vaporizer with an adjustable temperature, why not vape from low to high temps? This way you can benefit from the oils that boil-off at lower temperatures without having to inhale any smoke they might release if they burn at the higher temperatures.

I guess its because I like those CBNs or whatever at the high end. If you move up slowly you get less of that upper high end released. I guess its all in what you like.

Because a lot of people like to get the full compliment of THC/CBN/CBD's all at once.

Oh I am not doubting vaporizers work.. I know they work and damn well. I am just wondering if you can still extract all of the good cannabinoids without getting the nasty products of combustion, and what temperature is optimal for this. I'm figuring its somewhere between 170 C and 190 C

What I do when using the Extreme is to have some favourite set points (degrees C); 140, 170, 190 and 210; vape the weed and then place it in a labelled container. I can then resume at a greater temperature and skipping the lower temperature effects if I so desire. And when I have a nice size vial of 210C, I know that I can use a bit at 235 and get
an even more pronounced and separated effect.

Do you actually get hits at 140? I've never tried to go that low before. I thought you had to be at at least 170 to get any goodies, but I'm new here, so......

I like to hit a couple of elbow bowls on my Q at 185 and then I take a nice rip of the avb at 230 right before bed and it does the trick... Sleepy time :brow:
