Those units really do look striking. Love the look of the aluminium and the brightness of the colours really makes it pop.

It's funny saying that now because thinking back to the first pictures I ever saw of the black unit enclosure, the look of the aluminium had initially given me cause for concern. Back then we didn't know just how tiny the unit was and there wasn't much to go by in the pictures for scale; we just had a couple of photos and the 3d renders on the site. In my mind I was still thinking in terms of hex-nails and other PID controllers and at that scale the brushed machining marks on the units appeared larger than they are. It almost had a 3d printed black plastic look to it. I think I even described the unit to Max as looking "rough".

I apologise for that- it really is a clean, industrial looking little thing. The bevels, in particular... just classy as fuck. Great attention to detail.

I had the same impression based on the available photos and videos which is why I went with the silver one, plus I like the raw look anyway.

Mine should be shipping this week, can't wait to get it and test it out.

Any update on the 0.0.90 firmware rolling out? I have been trying to update my unit for a few days now without any luck. I understand that there are reasons for a delayed rollout, but if you could take a page from Google's book, and allow any user who is trying to manually update to get the latest version, it would be appreciated (some of us like playing with the latest and greatest even if there is a risk of bugs ).

The problem with taking a page from Googles book with an embedded device is such that if we push out an update that breaks your ability to connect to WiFi or fetch future updates, we have to perform warranty service and pay for return shipping on hundreds of units so we are very cautious when rolling out significant changes to the platform.

That sounds like a valid code...

I keep thinking about that red MaxVapor controller now. It’s so cool that you can pick your Pantone colour, I think that’s well worth waiting a month or few for. I have no practical need for a controller atm, but it looks like Iron Man’s enail controller. Who honestly wouldn’t want Tony Stark’s dab station?!

so after much use......460!!!! Thats my happy temp. Just blows me up while giving me that sweet terp flavor. I have yet to use the web interface and absolutely love this thing. Cant wait to see how much more I can do once I gain access to the web interface. I know @scalescliffs loves it and thats enough for me to know I will also be a pig in shit when I get to unlock all the features of this amazing little controller. If you are on the fence. Jump off and order this shit. Its crazy small and just gets the job done. Get ER Done!!!!

Oh yeah. It works like a charm offline. You could use this anywhere you got some electricity, but no internet. I really like that considering other units still forced you to have a hot-spot or something going to make them work.

I think I hear my MaxVapor calling me for another dab......

Just got my maxvapor enail after a month waiting. Opened it up unit looks great. Some machining marks. But it’s not really deep marks. Tried to use it and I can’t. Won’t keep a stable temp. Temp is all over the place. Really disappointed so far. Hopefully it’s not a dud. Maxvapor responded quickly to my emails. They think it’s a bad coil and are sending another one. The wait continues.........

Same. I got the update a few days ago. First attempt to get a code got garbage back and then every attempt after has been the 0000 response. Great lil controller aside from that.

Merry Christmas ya filthy animals!!!.....just want to give a huge shout out to @maxvapor710 and @710Coils my Christmas came early yesterday!!!! Got my black unit and have been using it since last night, and I am truly amazed the size of this thing is so tiny it’s crazy. I have dialed in the temps depending on what I am dabbng and what coil to between 445° and 465°, with the flavor off the charts and the vapor to my liking. I’m currently using the @710Coils 30mm opaque with his barrel and axial coilsand the 25mm opaque with barrel, yet to try the 25mm axial cause I’ve falllen in love with the 30mm opaque.

Although I’ve yet to connect it to the interface but I am on 90 software, though I am having trouble making an account. When I go to make one I get an email but then the link to confirm does not work it sends me to a domain page. I did create one about a week and a half ago and it worked but for some reason I went to go sign in with it and there wasn’t no account listed for that email or username. So I created it again and that’s when they took me to the domain page, is anyone else having that problem creating an account, or confirming their account through the email link?

You are not alone. I had the same issue yesterday. I assume it’s a Christmas thing, and that Things will be back up and running in no time once the holidays have passed. I set up an account about a month or two ago and still haven’t been able to use the dashboard yet so you’ve not missed a thing. I’m hoping for a late Christmas gift from maxvapor in the form of a dashboard! That would be awesome! Merry Christmas everyone!

Sorry about any issues you may have incurred in the last few days we have been doing some backend upgrades in anticipation of an influx of new users, and any accounts that had never had a device linked got removed. I manually activated anyone that managed to sign up during our upgrade window, so you should be able to login now.

We are slowly going through each serial number and generating the certificates and pushing the updates out one by one, we should be through the list in the next 2-3 days.

We have also been working to implement a bug and feature tracker in the dashboard that links with our internal system so you can report issues or new feature requests and track the progress as they get implemented in future updates.

@YabbaDABBAdo glad you could get your unit just in time for Christmas, the USPS really stepped up their game and delivered about 20 units we got out at the last minute that were originally scheduled for delivery today, thanks Mr. Postman!

Literally everyone comments about the small size compared to how it looks online. I have done my best to try to take more photos pictured next to rigs and things but it doesn't seem to help... maybe you guys that have some other gear could post some comparison shots.

Mine is working great and I have not connected to the web interface. But the unit has performed perfectly. From my understanding the web interface is just more features and easier to adjust some of the settings that can also be done on the units directly.

I have no complaints with my unit and how it has performed and expect to really see it open up more once the web interface is sorted

My unit arrived back in November, I have not had any issues with it at all. I've linked/connected it just fine to the web interface, I haven't really used anything in the web interface except some widgets I setup and I was able to change my background to a different logo that I uploaded. From what I can tell its fully functional without having to connect it to the internet or the dashboard. I have used it connected and not connected and works the same.
