Those units really do look striking. Love the look of the aluminium and the brightness of the colours really makes it pop.
It's funny saying that now because thinking back to the first pictures I ever saw of the black unit enclosure, the look of the aluminium had initially given me cause for concern. Back then we didn't know just how tiny the unit was and there wasn't much to go by in the pictures for scale; we just had a couple of photos and the 3d renders on the site. In my mind I was still thinking in terms of hex-nails and other PID controllers and at that scale the brushed machining marks on the units appeared larger than they are. It almost had a 3d printed black plastic look to it. I think I even described the unit to Max as looking "rough".
I apologise for that- it really is a clean, industrial looking little thing. The bevels, in particular... just classy as fuck. Great attention to detail.
