That's a $600 piece here in the states!Also received the simba fritted disc. Mine has pretty good workmanship, it does have some rough spots though. The support for the stemless has some bubbles in it. That, and the joint is ground slightly unevenly. Not enough to present an air gap issue though, also note that Massdrop listed this as a 14mm, but I can assure you it is an 18mm.
Aside from that, this thing is a GREAT DEAL! Mine has a very attractive turquoise and lime green fritt. I'd argue it's nicer than my GBD fritt, despite it's slightly smaller size.

Apparently deadshorts' little concentrate rig had pieces of the glass from the frit come loose... extremely shitty quality, part of the reason why I don't want to buy fritted glass... plus joints being messed up, bubbles, uneven domes... and get this, apparently they were told they'd get a grade 2 ti nail and so far seems like everyone that's had theirs delivered is getting glass (boro) nails. Shame on Simba and shame on MassDrop!!!

. Don't know how long these welds will hold up, super sketchy/sloppy looking, but so far, no issues after a few days of heavy use. For those interested in trying a frit out it's a low risk/cost. Heavy diffusion, make reclaim build up fast in the can so I am cleaning the frit more often than other percs.
No worries, I didn't mean to come off as antagonistic if that's how my post read, just bummed for everyone that was going to get a solid deal. The thing with frits is you have to make sure you construct them and treat them properly... obviously pieces of glass flaking off a frit means it wasn't made properly. Yeah it functions, but at the cost of the frit starting to fall apart... definitely worries me if someone were to suck up a piece of glass trying to clear it.

The size thing is because they're hand-blown. If you look at the same glass pieces from different companies, you'll notice slight differences throughout, maybe the can is a few mm taller on one, or the mouthpiece flares a little more or less, stuff like that. To not even want to throw their name on the glass is really iffy, and I actually wouldn't be surprised if they were seconds.

Table's fine, wooden planks underneath are pretty uneven though. Mouthpiece on the Simba is a little crooked to the right. I'll have more/better stuff up this afternoon.
Guy, are you serious? Did you actually read what I wrote? I just explained exactly how I could have inhaled small glass flakes from an improperly built fritted perc and you are going to sit there and pshaw it? The thing was made like shit and I'm supposed to know that they made dangerous garbage? I'm supposed to put a screen in my mouthpiece to avoid their unsafe and fucked up work? No, you're right.
