That's the problem with Wholesale. Sometimes this stuff doesn't ship for a while. I've got a little more respect for the LHS since I've dealt with it a little bit. You pay so much, but you don't have to wait 1-3 months for your piece.

OTOH my last MassDrop purchase arrived 10 days after the drop closed. But those were probably already made and already in stock somewhere. These have to be made from scratch as it were.

Definitely believe in supporting local HS and other local businesses, but have plenty of other glass so don't mind waiting to save almost 1/2 off (from ALT price) for a quality Roor piece.

Plus I believe RooR said they can churn out 25-35 a week, the Massdrop only sold 28...so unless RooR was BS'ing, they should not take too long before we receive them.

This drop is for US customers only. All recyclers are made to order and RooR estimates that they can make 35 recyclers per week and will drop ship every week. This is a first come first serve basis.


Please allow 5 business days to ramp up for production after the drop ends. This is a first come, first serve basis.

Just noticed another Roor piece has appeared on MassDrop...more of an oil rig. They say the same thing about production time/schedule.

Got to remember that Roor makes lots of different glass and they didn't specifically say they'd produce 25-35 of our particular recycler each week.

Just saying is all we can really do is wait...

If Massdrop has their stuff together they should arrive soon. I was a bit worried, because it doesn't say if RooR is ready to make the recyclers right away. They probably are, though, seeing as massdrop ends on a specific date. They've probably made sure that RooR would be free to start production right away.

The MD description says this at the end of it, take it for what you will, not sure how much the final qty of the order affects this, if they have a bigger order ahead of this, they could delay the unit fabrication, but that's just my own speculation... :hmm: :mental:

Well tomorrow would be the 5th business day since the drop, so hopefully they will go out early next week in the best case scenario. Hopefully massdrop will give us an update soon, this is my first massdrop so I am not sure what a normal wait time is.

Don't think there is a "normal". Some items are readily available and ship quickly directly from the manufacturer (like ours hopefully) and others are sent to MD and then they ship out to individuals. I've done three. Fastest was about 2 weeks from end, slowest took 5 weeks (Order from China>MD>me).

I think that because they already make these (sold on ALT for $550)or something very similar hopefully will mean that ours will arrive in the "sooner" time frame. Comes out of Bay area in California I believe.

My last experience with a RooR was a giant straight tube style, four holed downstem perc, not something I would ever recommend for vaping. I haven't any experience with their more "modern" style rigs. I have a feeling this recycler will impress me way more than the old school straight tube did.
Here's to hoping we all have them soon!

Like everybody else I'm waiting to hear from Roor with a tracking #. Was hoping that some would hear by end of day today or tomorrow for sure, but then noticed it said "drop ship once a week" so maybe we'll all get ours sent out together at the end of the week. As this is already for sale on ALT making them shouldn't present any new challenges.

I know this appears to be a back to back post, but only because nobody else has posted since I did and the edit feature is long gone.

According to the discussion page for the Roor (where they have been responding to questions about shipping):
"Support said they would ship this Friday."

If that is the case we should all be getting them next week. :clap:

I was told the same thing just a while ago in an email from them. They were answering a question and let me know they were shipping friday.

RooR Tech: Flush Recycler Product Update

Hey everyone,

We just got an update from RooR that half of our orders have already been shipped,
and with tracking information updated.

They are aiming to ship out all the remaining order by end of the day tomorrow,
if not first thing on Monday.

We’ll update again once all the orders are shipped out.
