I thought recyclers were pretty cool so I bought one. It's fun to watch the water recycle, but after the novelty wears off what you are left with is a rig that creates a lot of unusable wet claim. I much prefer an hmk skillet because all the claim stays in the screen/stem away from water, where you can reclaim and revape it. I don't use it much anymore but will give it another try when I get my e-nail/carb cap setup complete. Of course if you don't use it for dabs, or don't care about recovering your reclaim this is probably not important.

I can't say I agree with that general statement about recyclers. I find on my Gordo, I get a small ring from claim right under the cone, right about where the vortex spins then drains. And I mean small. Although, my rigs rarely go a day or two without cleaning. I agree it was neat to watch at first, and THAT part I no longer do. But maybe it's the particular piece that is causing it. My frittted disc DG rig gathered WAY more claim than my recycler, and once fritts got clogged, affected the way the piece worked. I agree the spinning vortex may be a novelty to look at, but all recylers are not claim magnets.

Finally committed to the roor drop
And not that I've owned much glass... But isn't the point for most of us to have something cool too look at? I consider the glass I have owned art. As long as it functions, the way it looks is most important IMO. I Don't see how a recycler is any different. Also I think my collie recycler claims less and is easier to reclaim(only in a couple concentrated spots) then most other pieces I've had

@FLskwat, @tepictoton if you want one of these recyclers I would be happy to help with the logistics to get it to an international address. Basically, I buy them, have shipped to me, then ship to you. At $310 each I can grab a couple and would trust you if you wanted one to pay me back after I get them...
BTW, don't think that e nail drop is that good of deal. I only paid $520 for my D Nail...

I agreed with that and still partially do (got my torchless pyromid for a VERY REASONABLE price) and then saw all the included items nails/adaptors/box... I am also "intrigued" by both the handle and the ceramic heater & SS heat shield...
I'm thinking about jumping on this roor recycler. It's actually rediculous timing. I'm going to a Worm and Bates show this weekend and was planning on getting a diffusion pump or maybe a hitman recycler there. That'd cost me way more, though. Have you guys had good experiences doing this? Do they get their products and ship them out quickly?

This is only my second MD buy, but the first one went perfectly and shipped within a week of the end of the drop.
This indicates they can produce/ship 35 per week with production to begin 5 days after the end of the drop and they've only got 16 orders so far so the wait should be pretty short. Some might even begin getting theirs by the end of next week depending on where in the US they are made and where you live. Descriptions usually give details on when to expect the item (or check the discussions tab)
Hard to imagine you'll find a better deal at the show.

I so badly want to add a recycler to my collection, wish I had more than 3 days to decide. The only thing keeping me back at this point is that I would need an adapter for my EVO. If it was 18MM female I would have already bought it.

I'm in the same boat. Got mine for the EVO, but an adapter is <$10 and should work fine with the lightweight EVO.
I think it should be no problem. In any case the included "dome holder" might do the trick without needing the adapter at all.

I think I'm going to have to get this. Not a good time with money but I don't think I will see a value like this again. Now to just choose between blue and rasta! Damn you MassDrop! Ruining my wallet and bank account! This will be the most expensive piece of glass I own and I am already nervous about breaking it. Gonna have to handle it with kid gloves!
