strange piece to copy... i'm not a big fan of honeycombs, but a vid might be pretty cool, never seen vertical hc's before. looks like it takes alot of water.

pretty sure a vertical honeycomb defeats the purpose. when you pull on that i think the water would drop down to half the perc and only half of it would be firing (idk what would happen when you cleared it). honeycombs are meant to be stacked imo

while we're on the topic of poorly designed honeycombs, i have a phx triple honeycomb similar to this:

great piece but there's a bell perc at the top that's supposed to double as a splashguard; problem is the bubbles stack so high on the triple honeycomb it actually bubbles into the bell perc - taking water out of the base and trapping it in the top.

so if you don't change your water after a while it will actually accumulate enough that it splashes up every time regardless of how hard you hit it. not a big deal since you just change it but just wish they would've put a normal splash guard instead of a stupid ass bell perc - as if the 4 tiny slits have any effect on the smoke after going through 3 honeycombs

I'm just saying that I somehow pull it off with one of my double chambers that has the same problem. Gridded upline to showerhead. It's not ideal but a good piece that is smooth that occasionally needs a little blowback to even things out. :)

The stubby tube on the left. The part with the GonG is for slides/meth pipes! Follow the vapor path from the GonG down to the bottom of the blue ball perc thing, looks like it has some holes in there, and the stubby tube isn't connected to anything but the wall of the tube. If it were backwards, the water would go straight to your mouth :lol:

I'd say stick a whip into the part they'd put the cig into, throw the crack bowl out, replace it with a GonG of your liking and vape away. Some of those designs are kinda pointless but should still kinda work.
