I've had to do four retakes of the video...and now I'm just too vaked to do another one until tommorow.

First impressions:
-My units sleeve is one piece, not the triple banded thing the newer ones have got going on.
-SSV made serious clouds. The MW didn't until the last take with a larger bowl; even then it was pretty transluscent. I suspect the superior airflow on the MW is responsible, less heating on the herb then the SSV and I have to pull a lot less harder.
-Easier to replace screen on the MW. Awesome.
-A GONG venturi nozzle and a stainless steel pad for concentrates would be epic accessories.

I like them both equally. The MW has the advantages of being better for a party situation (bowl lasts longer), transportable, and easier to conceal. The lack of clouds surprised me but when you consider it (smell, high temperature, fast burn through) that is not ness. a downside.

Plug the top hole for decreased airflow and more clouds. I've actually never even tried hitting min without the hole being plugged. The airflow when plugged is similar to my myrtlezap and I like it.

If you want to get bigger clouds try turning the heat up slightly, there can be a big variance in cloud production without combustion happening although if you go TOO high it can combust as well.
All in all really glad to hear you're enjoying your unit!

Kick the temp up and always cover the back as you hit, those are my two main pieces of advice for too thin vapor. I've never actually combusted in my MW, and I get it damn near the max temp before I empty the bowl, especially with guests, so don't be too afraid to try a higher temp, the clouds are waiting for you there.
I have three settings i've marked on my MW for personal use, one at the start of the light, and two more after, with friends I usually jump straight to the middle setting and sacrifice a little bit of flavor time to jump straight to cloud time.

You can also try a technique where you do a full inhale inside the tube, breathe out (I do this through my nose), and take a second inhale until the tube is very milky and then clear it.
I've taught my cloud chaser friends this technique and it never disappoints, even achieving bong smoke thick vapor in normal light at higher temperatures and with plenty of green in the bowl. But then again being a cloud chaser isn't necessarily a good thing.

Of course this technique is a little bit of additional work on your throat and lungs, and you have to be careful not to take -too- big of a hit, or you'll end up coughing out the most vapor you've ever seen.

You'll get it down man, if it is equal to your SSV now just wait until you have mastered your wand.

So I own both (SSV & MW) and yes as is the vapor/air ratio is superior in the SSV.
But as stated by Matty, with some few tips to restrict air flow and with some inhale power management, you can easily achieve the same ratio as the SSV's!
On the other hand, MW has no tubing and that is IMO a BIG pro in terms of flavor...

When I say serious rips, I mean the biggest breath I can take in the shortest amount of time. Yep, mine doesn't seem to get hot enough to reach combustion even when I've accidentally left it on max for a few hours. Maybe it could be that I take the MW off the bowl after each hit though? I haven't used it on max while leaving the MW on the bowl.

Oh no I'm not surprised it works like that, I was just curious if thats what you meant. Like I said I've never combusted with my MW before either so I dunno how difficult it actually is to do.
I've used it on max with friends before but never alone because I assumed I would be able to combust.
Your technique sounds really useful if you wanna get vaped as fast as possible (not counting the 15-20 preheat, I never wait past 10 if its on full) I'll give it a try sometime for sure, thanks.

And yeah I wouldn't risk leaving the max temp MW on the bowl in between hits, that extra heat would probably kick it to combustion temp during a hit.

I forgot to mention that after I no longer get any vapor by inhaling as quickly as possible, I slow down the hit to normal speed and am able to get 2 more slightly cloudy hits but they taste quite harsh and the weed darkens significantly.

It seems I've found a temporary solution until I get my hands on a Cloud!

Your use of the vaporizer seems to be a bit uncommon so I will list a couple of tips.
1. start off slightly higher than the recommended temp.
2. since your herb seems to be slightly dense so I'd recommend leaving the wand on the bowl after every intake.
3. Drag slowly as it will satisfy you with more fulfilling clouds every time. Also as you drag slowly hold your finger over the inlet hole at the top but play with your finger placement to get the desired air flow ratio.
4. After getting a clouds at a lower setting as the clouds start to lessen in visibility turn up the knob a hair every hit until the herb is finished.
5. Sucking super fast will be disappointing if you don't have alot of herb to support it, also fast dragging should be reserved for hookah use as people tend to look for more quality hits out of water pipes.
6. pack the bowl lightly instead of heavily, it wont serve you well to pack it heavy because you wont get a correct air ration through the herb to cook it thoroughly.

edit: the ssv is gonna transition to my by-the-bed vape. MW is gonna run on the inline for now.

Thanks for the input HiPi, after reading that it helped me understand how there is a happy medium between temperature, taste, and vapor density and that it depends on how much you pack and how potent your herb is. I'm lucky to live in the great medicinal state of Colorado so I have access to some of the stickiest herb around. I haven't needed to pack large amounts of it which no doubt contributes to the huge clouds I'm getting.

Help my magic wand is not heating enough, almost no heating... ... I just got it.. i put a 7.5 A 125/240 v.. its all thats written on it.. The green light is workin .... it gets a bit warm.. But thats alll... I hope i don't have to send it back for repair.. i dont have 45$ for shipment...
How unfortunate... I feel like i am going to cry like a little baby ...

Hey AV:

1st: Wattage of the transformer?? 200W is enough for the MW.

2nd: temperature takes a little time to raise; sweet spot is around 1 PM, vaporization starts around noon. You can crank it up to full blast for 5 mn, then go down to noon, and you are good to go!

3rd: the ceramic is so impressive on the MW it takes a little time to fully heat, but the temperature conservation oif this vapo is unbelievable, and once you have reached your sweet spot, you can hit as hard as you can, the temperature WON'T drop!
