I was wondering if you can use hash for the LB

Eh... it really depends on the consistency of the concentrate.

Even if you were to top a trench with it, shaking/stirring would make the heated concentrate smear all over the place.

It is wonderful for kief, however.

You have no problems with kief? Do you put it on top of your herb? Do you shake after a hit? I always thought kief would gum-up the screen.

Really? I'm pretty sure folks in the official thread recommend against using kif.
How often have you done so? Any issues with the screen?

Smoking hash in the LB is tricky. You have to make the hash pieces smaller and smaller. It can be done, but it's labor intensive. Keep crushing and vaping till you end up with powder.
