MadHeaters Shipping Thread

Interesting if UPS is in fact the last leg given what's been discussed. TBH my curiosity for how this thing arrives and if there will be a tariff far exceeds the anticipation of using the device itself :ko:

Dang that's for sure a little disappointing. UPS absolutely is going to charge the tariff. It's ok though I'm just glad the US orders are being shipped because frankly I wouldn't have held it against them if they just canceled them over the headache. Something something beggars and choosers, and all that lol

I think it’s more likely there won’t be than will be given the thought MH has put into this and reports of successful deliveries.

There is the option to refuse delivery and have it reshipped at another time which is mega classy.

Left the UK shortly after tracking arrived and has been in the air for a few hours now.

DPD provides a delivery partner tracking URL taking me to Asendia which in turn has a "Visit tracking site: UPS" URL and that gets me a "Tracking information for this item is not available at this time. Please check back later."

Interesting, because it sounds like the first wave used USPS for the last mile. Is there a greater chance of tariffs being levied with the commercial carriers?

That's my understanding, but we're about to find out! Maybe the carrier / tracking will change from what I'm seeing now.

All that's certain is she's somewhere over the Atlantic 🌊

EDIT: It's USPS! The link lied. Email from DPD with subject "Your DPD order is on its way" explains the local hand off but didn't specify with whom. At the bottom there's a tracking button, but I assumed it was the DPD one. It took me to USPS and says awaiting package.

Its not. I believe the website either has a typo or some error. Ive gotten a lot of orders from MH and the same page shows for me everytime. However, when i click the “ups” link (once it actually works), it always goes to a usps site.

In my case, i already have my usps tracking number for when its handed over. Dpd sent me an email today with that info since its leaving the UK.
