Decided to vent a bit more here since its the only outlet where it makes sense.
Im in the US (southern state) and have a G for my first initial. This matters, because I genuinely think during manual routing, someone saw my name and mistook it for Germany.
So my T2 that I got a shipping email for on 5/6 is sitting in a royal mail sorting office in Germany since 5/14. Thats the last scan.
Of course I’m rational enough to know that its no reason to freak out. This happens all the time (apparently, wouldn’t know), with international mail through Royal. However its frustrating spend a hefty price tag ($240+ USD), request an early ship from MH (regardless of tariffs), all for it to be stuck in a country it should of never went to. First it was hard to be excited because the US shipments were up in the air. I had a few days of anticipation once it was shipped and now I’m back in purgatory.
Most likely I figure:
-best case scenario: it is rerouted and in the US by 5/21. Still takes 4-5 days from there to get delivered due to customs and USPS delays.
-most likely scenario: arrives in the US by 5/26
-worst case scenario(s): arrives in the US by 6/1+, or is “lost”.
Again this was just to vent. Im a “big boy” (lol) and can handle waiting longer for a package. But two things can be true at the same time and this is also frustrating and killing my tempest boner.
Thanks for the vent! I think I may of lost sympathy over the ordeal from Brenyo by annoying him about it. So I needed to get this out and now I will pretend it **doesn’t exist** until it shows up on my doorstep.
