LSV, Herborizer Ti, CC Halo? Help me decide! (Water pipe vape)

Looking for a desktop vape to rip through a bong. My Tafée Bowle is incredible for portable usage so I’m set there. I want something that’s easy to use + easy to clean, gets me stoney baloney, convection vapor, healthiest of the bunch, will last a long time. I know a few of these use ruby / boro balls. I’m completely unsure if they’re safe or sketchy so I figured I’d mention I’m looking for a healthy vape to rip through a bong.

Vapes I’m considering:
LSV $200~
Herborizer Ti $350~
Cloud Connoisseur Halo $300

(Concerned about Ruby / Boro balls (which are in the HighLighter and the Clouds) for health reasons (not sure if they’re sketchy or safe, I just see people have mixed reviews on them)

Any suggestions?

Health stuff is very personal, you’ll ultimately have to decide that portion for yourself. That said, I have no concerns over balls in general, but sourcing is important. The quality of the material and the production processes are an area that can introduce health concerns not associated with the base materials themselves.

I don’t have any reason to doubt the sourcing on any of the units you’ve listed, with the obvious exception of HLT as you would presumably source those yourself.

As far as reco, I have no direct with any of them but the feedback on Herbo I’ve heard has been all good and no bad; and the Halo is on my list, I think anything from CC will be great.

Thanks for the feedback. CC reached out to me on Reddit and the Halo / Atlas looks like something I want. Now I’m deciding between that and the Herbo lol. I’m going to remove the highlighter from my options for now. Just because I want something of the cream of the crop.

There should be nothing unsafe about rubies or other pearls inherently, in the heating element, as long as they are the proper materials and everything is to spec and assembled properly, what would be unsafe??

Also I'd suggest skimming through the ask FC threads, a lot of posts comparing desktop heavies, I know you've started so many of these threads yourself though lol

Yeah my bad I’m a bit of an OCD maniac and want to buy what’s best for my needs when in reality I just suffer from VAS like the rest of us. I’m really thinking the CC Halo is the move for me personally. I might snag an LSV in the meantime to have something to rip through water until it arrives. Thanks for the feedback.

Haha yeah we've all been there, I'm just saying you should be able to satisfy a lot of that with extensive research here, instead of asking, a lot of us have already answered these questions many times over in other threads is why I suggest it!

The halo is one of my favorites though, easy suggestion, easy choice, I will say the atlas can reach a bit more vapor density, although it takes quite a bit longer to heat up and does not stand up on its own, needs a stand when in rest, Halo may have better flavor slightly? I have a heady atlas coming too, but also another halo to go with my original!

LSV was my first desktop, I sold it when I got my underdog, it is quite the beast though, I think it was more enjoyable to use than the Cloud Evo for me? Logs are awesome though they are smaller and not as powerful, but I am getting a large HI made now along with something new from Alan...

People love the Herborizer so I really want to try one someday, just curious if it will impress me the same way compared to what I have, similarly curious about the FlowerPot line of course since I've dtill never tried one of those yet!

Fantastic feedback. I appreciate the in depth response! I’m thinking for now I’ll snag the LSV (I need to stop smoking through a bong) and use that while I await a Halo + rubies or a Herborizer Ti. I’m a big fan of logs myself, but the E-Nano XL for $300+? I think I’d rather just get a Halo / Atlas or Herbo for that kind of money! FC has helped me out greatly with these decisions. (Picked up the Tafée Bowle from suggestions and am super impressed with the cool, tasty on demand vapor quality)

Shit yes, grab that LSV already, stop the smoke! I gave up smoking through a bong after I coughed up blood once from a big harsh hit, switched to vaping full-time never looked back (except rare a puff on a joint with friends only to be extremely disappointed, so never again lol)

and use that while I await a Halo + rubies or a Herborizer Ti.

FYI all Halo have rubies, it is the Atlas, where there is a choice between rubies or glass boro because it makes up the entire heater surrounding the steel cartridge heating element, rubies have better heat retention, so they are in the halo, but they are not as important for the atlas where there is a ton of mass anyway

That is a lot, I think underdog alpha is also pretty pricey, but if you email alan@toasty-top.com to see what he has in stock, you can get a large HI for $100 in square shape I think, I know that the bamboo version is only $50 or $65 for glass or steel core respectively, doesn't matter if it's the small or large size... You need to get the VVPS power supply and stems separately, but still all together you will be spending less than $200 maybe less than $150 even depending what you want...

Yeah don't get me wrong I love the cloud connoisseur vapes and think they are well worth the money, sort of next level, but I just wanted to clarify if you might be interested in grabbing a log instead of the LSV even...? Yes you are off to a good start, TB is very simple convenient effectiveness!

I’d be inclined to place an order with Alan! He did hmu yesterday. Are his vapes only butane powered tho?

Oh, no no, Alan makes log vapes! Like e-nano (who supposedly used Alan's own log layout design to make their product btw) plug in style, although he also makes the iHeat that attaches to a 510 mod like the Splinter (he actually has a version that attaches to a plug-in base as well)

Oh shit! I’m hitting him up now. I’d much rather buy a log from him! Now I have to research his logs lol. This is amazing. Thanks homie

The HI is fantastic, I've been using it close to a year. Incredibly capable once you get it figured out.
Btw this too can be run from Red's kit. In fact the VVPS is the only 'complaint' I have of the device.

Sounds like a solid plan! Heat Island or iHeat? Is one significantly better than the other?

They are different, iHeat it's not technically a traditional log, it uses steel mesh as the heater similar to RBT, it attaches to a mod like the Splinter or you can buy the version that connects to the base, that is much more expensive by the way, and it may require getting on the wait list which could be a 2-year wait, you can ask if he has any iHeat available when you email, but I was mainly suggesting the heat island, that is the log
