Looking for the best reliable, powerful yet portable vapes on the market

I'm trying to look for a few of the best options on the portable market when it comes to reliability and power as well as ease of use. Need a reasonable bowl size, and I already have the Arizer Solo on my list and thinking of the Pax. I was wondering what else people could recommend?

Do you need discretion? IE - is stealth a concern?

I REALLY like the portability aspect of my Lotus vape - I know I know - butane blah blah blah - trust me - you won't EVER taste the butane in your hit. It's freaking efficient as hell, and it's POWERFUL - I can enjoy a session in as little as 2 minutes with the vape if desired.

As long as you have butane and a torch, you're golden for unlimited use off the grid - It's seriously just as powerful if not more powerful than my Nano (I sometimes milk it so strong I swear I'm combusting until I look at the load and don't see any burnt herb!). How many other portable vapes can go head to head with a desktop vape?

Edit - just re-read your condition on ease of use - that's one aspect of the Lotus which doesn't meet your criteria. There is a bit of a learning curve on the lotus while you figure out how long to pre-heat and handle your torch (moving in a circular motion). But it's actually REALLY easy to use once you master it. Someone once compared it to learning a manual transmission in a car - little harder to learn, but the differences are astounding when you master shifting gears

T-Vape, I think that's one of the most powerful portables I've used.

Otherwise I recommend a manual vape like the VaporGenie, Hammer, or Firewood.

Despite not knowing how it will exactly works its definitely been pretty reliable.

Pretty much all I can comment on is the Pax, and I just ordered a Lotus yesterday (after a long time pondering my 2nd vape purchase). The Pax is great for it's simple and small form factor and yes, it is somewhat stealthy (more on that later). However, after almost 2 years using my Pax I just can't stand behind it as far as reliability. Now I must qualify that statement with the fact that it works well almost all of the time, but when it fails you are out of luck. I'm on my second unit- in two years that isn't bad- but I have also been out twice when I haven't been able to get the mouthpiece to click open. That is directly my fault because obviously I didn't keep it clean enough, but still. Also, if you don't keep it very clean and the mouthpiece lubed up, you will get the temp light issue, which actually isn't a big deal when you are using it solo, but try to share with a friend and explain to him that you need to push on the mouthpiece to keep it heating up- it's a pain and doesn't inspire confidence.

As far as stealthy- most people will tell you it's the most stealthy vape out there. I don't find it that stealthy for one reason- it takes a good minute and a half to heat up and if you have stinky flowers it's going to smell like freaking crazy during that minute and a half. I have had people tell me "That smells good buddy" while it's heating up, not even hitting it, and when you are trying to vape in public a minute and a half is an eternity.

I also do not find the Pax economical at all, and yes I do use the sandwiched screen method, but it works better with a pretty fine grind and even a half an oven ground fine is a lot of material. Also, if you use half an oven the flavor really goes fast, like in two or three draws. And if you don't keep it clean it also suffers with flavor.

When my Pax had to go back to Ploom (stopped heating completely) I came to the conclusion I needed a more reliable vape. That is when I really started to evaluate my Pax and decided if I was buying something else I wanted reliability and better flavor. Probably more than you wanted to know, but hope it helps.

Heh, I arrived at the same conclusion as you when I Fucked Combustion earlier this year with a Davinci Ascent and then it up and died after 1 month of intensive use!

The Lotus was my first choice after deciding to buy something more reliable (by eliminating as many electronic components as possible). As long as you aren't trying to run extended HIGH heat extractions, the cap should last a long time.

Thanks for the replies guys! I will look into the new vapes you guys have mentioned here. That's a pity that the Pax doesn't seem to hold up great long-term, I thought it was a pretty cool unit but reliability is key.

I think I like my Solo and Lotus almost equally... However I prefer them both way more than my PnP...

That's the one thing I find about vapes everyone has their own fav one & for many diff reasons. I really enjoy the heat of the pnp I use it at level 3&4,, & find it just right for my needs, but I'm a chronic pain sufferer and i use it as a pain controller & find the higher temps much better at hitting the analgesic properties of the herb.
It's hard to give someone advice on what's right for them,, sadly unless you try that vape any advice must be taken lightly, as quite often vapers can be disappointed. There seems to be a lot of people getting on with the solo for many diff reasons,, maybe that's the one to go with,, if you didn't get on with it you could always get most of your money back by selling it on,, it does hold it's value good..

Couldn't go wrong with a Solo but the Lotus really is the duck's nuts.

I use an Indica, Solo, FF, Da Vinci, Pax and Lotus. The Indica and Pax are both excellent for out of the house stealth type vapes. The Solo is good for coaxing the last bit of thc from my mostly spent herb. The FF provides me with unmatched, delicious taste for the first few draws. The Lotus is my favorite of them all. Ease of use (after a slight learning curve), no batteries to worry about and the tastes are almost on par with the FF.
Being very sensitive to taste, the Lotus and FF stand alone as far as I'm concerned.
