Looking for best largest capacity loose leaf portable vaporizor

Before finding this forum, I tried my best to purchase the best high-capacity loose leaf portable vaporizer. I ended up buying the V2 (Series 7) vape kit:
https://www.v2.com/vaporizer-kits/series-7-vaporizer

However, after getting it, I quickly realized it only contains a tiny crucible (smaller than a sewing thimble) for packing the ground loose leaf.

I'm looking for something portable that has the largest builtin storage chamber for the ground herb; and, uses what it has stored automatically, as needed... however, still being portable.

All the devices I've seen have tiny, manual loading loose leaf chambers/crucibles; requiring frequent/daily, messy refills.

If there isn't such a thing "yet", I would be happy with something that at least has a the largest loose leaf crucible/chamber possible; while still being portable.

Thanks so much in advance!

I believe the Davinci IQ has a capacity close to .5 grams when packed tight.

Thanks for the quick and informative responses. I know this may sound really stupid (because of my inexperience)... I was actually hoping the technology existed where there's a chamber as big as where the battery would go... automatically going through a little bit of herb at a time. This would probably require the heating element to mechanically move a bit with each use.

Maybe a convection style vape will meet your needs.

What about something like the Haze? The compartments aren't big but there are 2 separate ones you can switch between.

Or, although this is not what you're describing, a set of Ddave's preload stem pack so you have 4 loaded stems ready to use. The 18mm ones hold more than I ever fill. Then you can use any portable that uses 18mm stems.

What's not clear is whether you want a vape that you use all at one time or one that you draw from periodically. In session or on demand. You can get larger bowls in either category or use 18mm stems in either but they function very differently.

I don't think that's a thing yet

I think you can either choose between small replaceable stems/cartridges/loading capsules OR large ovens that are vaped in one long session. The IQ is definitely the largest capacity vape I've used, and I've never even tried removing the pearl.

I'm not quite sure if that could be accomplished with dry herb without any kind of reloading, at least as of yet.

The only thing close isn't dry herb at all but with concentrates I've heard of people melting relatively large amounts of concentrates into say a vapcap with a custom cut concentrate pad and then just puffing that on demand.

What you described is a very interesting thought though, hmmmm :sherlock:

if u are only looking for convenience without loading/dumping mess - a mighty with 8 pre loaded capsules holds plenty enough
large chamber and portable don't go along too good, more energy consumption...

Where and how do you want to use the vape? I think that since what you want doesn't exist you'll do better clarifying how you want it to function. Most of the ones I've tried aren't especially messy. But do you want a session vape or not? Do you want it to look more like an ecig or especially stealthy?

I think that if you get a session vape with a large bowl, you'll be burning a lot of the herb up between inhales. You might be better off getting one that heats the herb only when you inhale so that you're using most of the herb over whatever time you want.

Haze is beta testing a vape called the Square which is exactly what your are describing, there is 4 bowls and you can turn them to place it just above the heating element..... although there is still not any review or user feedback about it cause Haze wants to keep the "industrial secret" which I understand totally!

Look at the Hipvap which is pretty cheap cause the manufacturer doesn't produce it anymore, it vapes using conduction and bowl is pretty large and you can use preloaded pod too!

Sorry, doesn't exist yet.

Why would u want a large capacity vape when it can take as little as 0.05g to get u lit?

And no, there is no vape where it can let u load a lot one shot and only heat certain part of it, it wont be made anytime soon because quite frankly i think u may be the only one on earth to want a feature like that lol

I think what the OP is looking for is the Ecig cartridge type equivalent for dry herb. Something with a chamber that will hold a large amount of weed and feed it into the oven as needed.

Ain't there.

They do make those for concentrates don't they? Just not dry herbs.

Well, yes...they make cartridges for oil. But I think what this fella wants is a bin or receptacle built into the dry herb vape that would somehow meter MJ into the oven as needed (no idea where the ash would go either) for many sessions. Like gassing up your car and going for a long drive, yeah?

I don't think such a thing does exist nor will it soon. There will be Keurig cup type vapes (but that's not the same) and vpaes like the Haze Square with four chambers you can prefill and rotate amongst but that's now the same either, I don't believe.

I'm sure we will be seeing other approaches to this, but no...nothing like that exists that I am aware of.

I would love a vape with a large chamber because we're getting to the point where vapes no longer destroy the herb by keeping it heated while you're not heating. Now that we have that ability, why wouldnt we just want to have a large chamber that holds maybe 2 grams that I can just puff on all day instead of having to refill capsules? A large chamber that could be filled with however much from .2 to 2 grams would be great. A larger chamber would require agitation for smaller loads but if you still want capsules, a vape with different sized capsules for vaping would be perfect. Even as big as 1gram loads (as long as its not constantly cooking) is something i look forward to.

Sorry u will almost never get that because if u need to use that much u are better off rolling a blunt, the whole point of vaporizing is to get lit with 0.05grams to 0.20 grams per load, some uses more but thats the basic idea, using less, healthier than combusting, good for wallet and health

That may be the point for you, but times are changing. I carry around 5 capsules with me because I need that much to curb the pain I experience from a nerve condition. In a convection vape, there is no reason for that since your herb isnt going to be wasted while you're not taking draws. This makes carrying capsules obsolete. I was successful in finding a fenix rebrand that holds more than 1 gram yesterday though. Waiting on that to come in. Although not 100 % convection, a 90/10 split isnt too bad. Now if there were one with a ceramic chamber instead of aluminum or SS.

Also this could easily be remedied for people that dont like large chambers with a insertable smaller chamber. If its convection, it shouldnt matter as much what size it is.

the good old Plenty can do all of that pretty good (without stirring), just not that portable - but doable if u wanna carry a 7 pound battery+inverter ;)
Key for that is a large bowl diameter, but that requires more heating power eg the plenty needs 110 watts for 3 minutes to heat up - thats 5,5 Wh, which would deplete one standard li battery, ok it's a large heat sink to heat up but that still shows the limitations energy wise for the bowl diameter...
