I'm seeking help and advice to quit combusting.
I've been smoking cannabis together with tobacco for something like 15 years. During the week, each day i smoke 1 to 3 joints after work and that number can rise during the weekend. My joints always contain close to one entire cigarette. I used to smoke cigarettes but I stopped that several years ago, that smell disgusts me now. However out of habit I guess I never did/could stop adding tobacco, also all my friends smoke like this. A few years ago I already tried to stop combusting, I bought an Arizer Solo but after a few days I stopped trying to switch and went back to combustion. It has been laying in a drawer ever since. Oh and I also bought a Vapor Genie but I find that using a lighter is cumbersome and I'd prefer to use an electric vape.
I think somehow my brain is addicted to the combo weed/tobacco. The weird thing is that I can go on holidays without smoking anything for several days and I don't feel bad or anything. For a few weeks I've been thinking about trying to quit combustion again, honestly it's weird but the taste of joints with tobacco disgusts me a bit but I still like that buzz. Kind of like a love/hate thing.
I've been reading a few threads on the forum and after reading a few stories it seem that taking a break and starting vaping seems to help some people. Tomorrow is our last day of holidays in Croatia so I haven't smoked anything for 8 days, I guess this is a good time to try to switch.
Usually when we get back from holidays and I get home I get a big craving for smoking, my plan, and this will be my first challenge, is to get home and use my solo instead of smoking and see how it goes. After 8 days I guess a single bowl will get me pretty high but as said I'm really not used to vapor and I'm a little afraid that I will not be satisfied with the high, in the past that's the point where I'd get back to combustion, so this will be my second challenge.
Hopefully writing this post will make me less prone to just get back to combusting.
Lastly I wanted to ask if someone could recommend the temperature level to use on my solo to have a thicker smoke to start since I read that might help me.
Thank you guys!
