Looking for a portable / travel vape for rosin

I am looking for something I can carry for rosin. Here is my criteria.....

1. No coils. Pure and simple, coils don't clean well.

2. Quartz bowl. I see more ceramic than quartz but I have seen a few like the Motar that have a solid quartz bowl. I love quartz bowls. A quick wipe with an alcohol cotton swap and every hit tastes like the first. LOL

3. 510 compatible. I am open on this one if you can show me the stock battery is so wonderful but I am tired of being tied to a proprietary battery. 510 gives so many options and I have a dozen of them already.

That's about it. I have not seen much on my searches. The Puffit2 is pretty nice but it's a ceramic bowl. Also, it would be great if the bowl had some kind of lid so I can fill 4 or 5 of them before going out and just swap bowls when one runs empty. Rather than trying to fill a new bowl with this sticky ass rosin. So, price is a fator if I want to buy more than one chamber.

So far, the Arcadia Motar is the closest thing I found except the mouthpiece is so long it's no longer a 'pocket' pipe. I found another similar to it with a smaller mouthpiece but I can't remember the name and I can't find it again. LOL

Any suggestions or links are greatly appreciated.

From the threads I have been reading here, there is no perfect answer to this type of vape yet but, I would still love to hear your opinion on the one you like.

A "mod box" is the regulator that wraps around a 18650 battery(ies).

In the link, it seems you need between 20-30 watts between 5-5.5 volts to fire it up. A 510 battery is probably not going to do it. But, let's put up the "batt" signal to be sure.

A ceramic atomizer like my Divine Tribe V3 in temperature control on my box mod swabs clean with a dry Q tip, no alcohol needed. That said, I'm just past donuts, the surface area is too compromised by the hole in the middle.

I'm gonna try a Source 10cig and some of these terra atomizers (ceramic plate inside a quartz cup) for my rosin to see if they're any good. Not sure how well the little stick battery will work, but I'm hoping I can slap the atomizer on my box mod and run it in temp control mode.

If you've got your mind set on just quartz the only real option is the Divine Tribe Quartz Quest, which is being updated right now with a few parts to improve the performance. There's lots of info in the Divine Tribe thread on here.

Well, like I said, I'm an open minded type so if you say your ceramic wipes clean, maybe mine was cheap and real porous or something. I'm always willing to try something before I dismiss it.

I must admit, I could leave the donut behind and not miss it. A nice clear opening is awesome.

I am going to order one of those 10cigpro setups and see how they work. I already ordered the Pied Piper. I believe that's a Divine Tribe knockoff. They look that same.

Looks like I am going to need a 'box'. Damn, another battery. LOL Any suggestions on that will be welcome. I'll search around and see if I can find a thread on it. Should be one around here. There's a thread on just about anything. LOL

Joyetech Evic Basic is cheap, simple, and very compact. Had one for over a year, still going strong, well worth the $25. A lot of people worry that these box mods are too big and heavy but mine is smaller than a Bic lighter. Here's a pic with my W9 KISS cart on top, I'm hoping the 10cig will be about the same size and keep the setup real slim.

were using it with Live Resin.

I still use my v3's, and you can clean them fine with Precision Tip Q-Tips (preferably organic),
others use hemp fiber gauze to wipe with (lots of folks reclaim all kinds of stuff off of these).
I've got a collection of Joyetech VTwin Mini mod boxes, only handles one 18650 battery, so get a good
charger and a few good batteries (Sony, LG) you can rotate (do NOT let them charge overnight!).
It is a decidedly PALM size vape (kind of like one of those really fat packs of gum), but works incredibly well (many folks use 3rd party firmware (Artic Fox and another I'm brain farting on) to increase their control, it's talked about all over the Divine Tribe thread here).

Nah I didn't get a QQ, I wasn't thrilled about the heater design; that said I'm looking forward to maybe grabbing one from the next batch when the new parts are released.

Doesn't fit your requirements but I'd still recommend the Healthy Rips Fury 2. Small, simple to clean, easy to use. If it wasn't such a long wait I'd recommend the splinter which does use a mod box.

Well I completely underestimated the size of the 10cig haha. It's horrible! The atomizers are super tiny, If it would actually vaporize the wax it might be decent as an emergency dab, but seems like the wax just melts and runs under the plate. All of my ceramic plate atomizers were assembled all crooked and sloppy. Pass on this one folks. I actually think it might work alright for CBD isolate, but for rosin it's a flop.

I received my Pied Piper today and tried it with my strongest battery and it barely made it red. The rosin never even smoked a tiny bit. It's a 4.6v battery so I was a little surprised that it did almost nothing.

My regular batteries didn't even get the coils red.

My Evic Basic will be here tomorrow. I hope that works a little better.

I prefer that my coils dont glow red (i.e. my w9 AC v2 titanium coils dont glow red). However, if u r getting no vapor, that is a completely different story.

I'll chime in and say the Top Airflow Saionara. I'm not sure if they have a quartz bucket currently. Unfortunately I've heard the heat transfer to quartz wasn't great, so most users prefer the titanium bucket.

It's the best wax pen I've ever used. Great clean taste, and you just q-tip out the reclaim after 2 good hits.

At home, I use their bubbler attachment and get rig style hits. This thing has been a great salve for my VAS.

Yes that's the one! Just a heads up, I've heard the quartz isn't as "reliable" as the titanium. Something about the heat transfer from the coil to the quartz bucket. The Ti heats up really quick.

I use the eLeaf Pico with ArcticFox installed. Small and slick looking. But any decent box mod with Temp Control should do the trick.

This thing just works. And it's super easy to keep clean if you q-tip it.

Well, from an idiot's point of view, this whole setup sucks. Albeit, I am an idiot so, I'm sure it's not the devices.

Got the Evic today. I did look at the instruction sheet but I'm way to anal to actually read it. Fucking idiot.

So, I just turned it on (5 clicks. I read that much. LOL) and screwed on the Pied Piper thing. The Evic automatically adjusted to some numbers and I pressed the fire button to see it work. It heated up a light red and the rosin melted but it wasn't vaping. I tried a couple hits and it totally sucked. I like to hit like a cigarette (is that mouth to lung) but this makes me vape straight to my lungs. My fucking throat is still burnt. I remember someone here saying 40 watts so I changed the power setting from 20w to 40w (read that too. LOL)

Wow, way too hot. Red hot. Damn rosin was boiling. I could decarb with this thing. However, it did create some vape. Ouch, fucking burn.

The battery is getting hot as fuck so I think it's time to turn off the idiot and put on my thinking cap.

According the the screen, the battery is half charged so I put it on a charger and I'm going to read the destrucions while it charges.

Lotta shit to learn to operate a simple battery. Not hard for you guys but then.... you're not idiots.

This is totally cool stuff. The battery has a firmware????? WTF.

I turned the battery down to 30 watts, even though the seller recommends 40w (EDIT: I just went back and the seller recommends 20 - 30w. Duh, no wonder it was so hot) )and the hit is not so burning hot. As it seasons I hope it gets a little better. Tastes like burning glass right now.

I took about 10 hits which is one session for me and the battery shows half dead. Life is always so much harder for a fucking idiot.

I took a couple rips from my G9 and I feel a little better. Ever go through your entire life, frustrated?

WTF is all that other stuff on the battery. And how did it know what time it was? Temp, Amps, Ohms, Watts....... that's what I say..... WATTS all this shit mean? LOL

I looked briefly but could not find one. Is there a local tutorial on the mod boxes and what all the terms and features mean?

I've got one of these and it works well. The quartz nail offers good flavor and the cap setup is good enough to get a good rip. I used it in my tent camping last weekend.
I have their Aurora pen too, and its halo bucket is incredible, no coil needed, but it comes with those too

That looks a lot like the G9 vape that I use as my regular. They work great. I have mine routed through my bong so I get awesome hits.

I still have not found a tut on the mod boxes and I can't get that piece of shit of mine to work for beans.

That mod box makes my regular e-juice carts vape like crazy but I don't know what the fuck I'm doing and I'm afraid I'm going to set something up that's going to blow up in my face.

My Evic Basic came with an instruction booklet that explained everything. Does yours not have that?

Unfortunately I'm not familiar with the atomizer you purchased, so I wouldn't know which settings to program in for it. The two buttons on the bottom of the mod are for changing the values. Push the fire button 3 times to change modes. You scroll with the bottom buttons.

I think you tricked me though, with a name like Hackerman I thought programming one of these would be a cakewalk

Yeah, mine came with instructions and I am fiddling through them but they just tell how to change the settings. They don't say what any of the settings mean so I have no clue how to set it for whatever might be attached to it.

What I need is a guide that tells what all those settings mean and how they relate to the attachments you use.

I am thinking this QBowl thing probably works fine. And, probably with this box. I'm just too fucking stupid to figure it out.
