This is a primary example of why this forum is different from all others. You guys are the best. Thank you vtac!
The scam is not to steal people's money (at least we've seen no evidence of it), but to sell products at lowball prices, with no regard for the manufacturer's wishes or policies, or for the customer's warranty status. For example, the site and its spinoffs were offering a one year warranty on the Solo, but Arizer's warranty is two years. So if the vape maker requires the product to be purchased from an authorized dealer, the customer loses by buying from a seller like this. If the vape maker holds a hard line on warranty coverage, the unauthorized seller can only honor a warranty by replacing the unit with a new one. And they're stuck with the defective one if the vape maker won't do business with the seller. The unauthorized seller can only replace so many units in this situation, and still remain profitable. This company crossed another line by actually taking orders for the Cloud, not only before the first production model was available, but without any guarantee whatsoever that they'd ever be able to deliver a single unit to a buyer. Then when it became clear that no units would be available for them to sell, the Cloud selling site became a negative review site, where the negativity was aimed at the company, not the product. They couldn't really pan the product, since they haven't even seen it, let alone used it.Frederick McGuire said:I'm not doubting that vaporizerforweed is associated with a whole lot of scam sites, but I just wanted to post my experience with them:
I bought my arizer solo from them a while ago (when you could actually buy directly from them, not the dodgy links they have on the site now), because of how cheap they were selling them, and it came in perfect working order, in pretty good time (it was international postage - about 1.5weeks)
So I can personally verify that they haven't always been exclusively scammers...

Hi VTac,
My name is [name removed] and I own/operate many websites including cloudvaporizer.com and vapexhalecloud.com
My employee, [name removed], has brought to my attention that she is receiving negative comments from a select few FC members.
I did glance your board, and appreciate your open dialogue surrounding vaporizers.
Anyways, there seems to be quite a few posts that are straight up libel. I understand you can not police every comment, however we have now brought this to your attention.
We have the logs of the chat discussions which are inappropriate and directly a result of your board.
Hopefully we can resolve this. We are all herb heads and all have 420 friends.
Do you have any questions at all?
We appreciate you addressing this.
Sincerely,
[name removed]
Hi [name removed],
I would recommend that you post in the Cloud thread if you want to clear up any misunderstandings. http://www.vapecity.com/viewtopic.php?id=2234

vtac
Hi vtac,
Thanks for the note. We may or may not post. This seems a silly issue. We simply sell vaporizers. We are also in communication with StoneMonkey55.
However, having FC members harass our employees is unacceptable and is directly in your control.
We would ask you to remove any postings that are pure libel.
Any direct comments relating to fraud, scammer or criminal should be removed immediately.
Additionally, one of your members posted a WHOIS of Mike Guess, the fellow who registered our domain, and who does our internet marketing. He has nothing to do with this discussion and the whois is updated to my information.
Appreciate your help. We are all just a bunch of herb cakes trying to get though life and none of us need these issues.
I understand that you would like to clear this up and I agree.
Addressing the issues yourself on the forum is your best bet, I don't have control of what members post so you will need to take it up with them.
Regards,
vtac
Hi vtac,
While you can not control your member's posts you have now been notified and you should fulfill your legal obligation by removing any defamation posts that you are aware of.
Hi Vtac,
I understand you helped remove that whois and a few posts that were libel. Thank you.
I was hoping to post a reply to the comments suggesting our websites are shady to clear the "hot air".
Can you please send me a link to the thread where this discussion is happening.
Cheers Vtac,

Hi Vtac,
We noticed you are directly making public statements about our websites being "shady". We ask that you remove these references immediately, as your statements are untrue.
Additionally, why would you feel this way? We offered an honest review of the Cloud after getting to know the people behind it a little better. Our job is to educate vaporizer customers on their options. Currently we would not want someone to save their money, spend it on the Cloud only to find out there may or may not be issues. At this point we simply can not recommend this item.
As far as us listing the Cloud on our websites, it was just Internet marketing. As per my email to StoneMonkey below, we had been told by our supplier we would have the Cloud to sell and possibly soon. Hence all of the internet marketing.
"We work with a Master supplier. Our master supplier casually mentions from time-to-time when new items are arriving. As we are solely an internet vendor we spend considerable time, funds and effort in the internet space, specifically in internet marketing."
This is not a scam, nor have we ever scammed anybody. We deal in educating our clients on the vaporizers currently available.
Stating we are shady is untrue. If you feel we are please let me know or allow us an opportunity to discuss this on FC. This is a serious legal issue with serious consequences to many people's lives.
Sincerely,
[name removed]
While I appreciate your concern, our staff has done nothing but state the facts. In my opinion, selling a product that you don't have is shady.
My thought would be to take this up with your Master supplier.
Regards,
vtac
Hi Vtac,
There is a lot more going on than you know here with VapeXhale and our supplier.
Once we were told by Vapexhale our supplier was incorrect we stated removing the items for sale.
This is not shady at all.
We have requested you remove the libel and you have clearly received the message.

The empty legal insinuations are not appreciated. We both know you have no case but if you'd like to pay a lawyer to find out that's fine. You will be paying our bill of costs when you lose as well.
Here is what I will offer. I'll take down the announcement if you take down the cloud sites. Since you have no use for them I think this is more than fair. You can transfer the domains to stonemonkey if he wants.
Looking forward to resolving this.
Using libel as blackmail is not going to help this.
We'll deal with it on our own.
We met last night.
Here's what is going to happen.
My partners, two American and One Canadian are individually going to go after you personally. Additionally we are going to update our Cloud review to include our discussions with SM and our discussions with you. Your viewers will read those reviews.
Just keeping you informed. If you change your position please keep me informed.
May be someone tried it on some party with SM or on a expo. or smth.. but still not enough for a good review..How does one review the cloud without a Beta? I thought all the Beta testing was done by members of this forum? Am I missing something or did they go so far as to post a phoney Cloud review?
Yeah, I'd say you're definitely stepping out of your place by calling anyone here "goofy". That's disrespectful and clearly against the 'Be nice' rules. As for bringing it to the forum, this reseller threatened to make the exchange public, so posting it here clearly says that we don't give a shit if he does. I don't know what made you think he doesn't read the forum, but I can assure you that he does, or has. Nobody's going to go to war with a forum owner without even checking out the forum. He's under the impression that he has some kind of leverage against FC and Vapexhale. We don't think he does.biojuggernaut said:Excuse me for stepping out of my place here. You guys are goofy for even bringing this to the board. It is obviously that the guy doesn't read the board
