This has become my go to glass for dabbing and vaping. The taste and smoothness of vapor paired with a solo is really superb. A herb sandwich with some potent CO2 wax in between gives me the tastiest vapor I have gotten out of any glass I have tried. Big hits can be taken if desired with little to no irritation. Every day I use is makes me appreciate my bubbler that much more.

I got your point. But, how do any of those things, make it harder/easier for vapes? Doesn't make any difference to anyone using a whip, which is quite a few people. Doesn't effect me, with my HI. My roasting tube, sits 1/2" - 1" above the can.

Its plenty big enough to accept adapters. Certainly any adapter that you might need to use, for bigger (Cloud, the only one I can think of, too big) pieces, to fit.

So, its not your ideal vape piece. That's different. ;)

If you combust with this, add an ashcatcher or be very careful. Got talked into smoking quite a bit through her while watching games on Sunday and was a bitch to get two pieces of "ash" out of the lattice. Couldn't find anything to snake in there that far, so took a good bit of soaking with ISO and shaking it loose. All good and no more of that for this lovely beast - at least not without an a/c. I'd like to say I'm not gonna combust through it anymore - but know I'd be lying. Hits through this beauty are just way too good!!!!

Glad you like it, I usually just pour whats left of my vodka to clean up my piece.

Yeah we do make ash catchers. Lemme know what you guys think of it

I meant to ask you about the ac/perc the day I picked up the bubbler. I'd like to get one of those. Text me $$$ also that 50mm dual lattice stemless tube.

Personally, I think the neck is a bit long on them, though I love the perc itself.

I read this and had a thought. With the Cloud and the new round of log vapes (HI and POD) that are completely or at least somewhat designed for using with glass, would you say that the whip-to-glass thing is dying? I rarely do this with the whip for taste reasons.

I don't know...just a thought, and probably a derail at that!

As much as I love using whips cause they give me a longer air path they smell. I went into my car last night in the garage and it had the windows open. No vape or tubing in there. My car still smelled like weed and I am sure it was from having tubing in there a week ago. I want glass tubing which I am sure can't smell as bad. There has to be some kind of whip tubing that doesn't hold the smell like this. It is horrible and smells gross. I am sure you saw but last night I used my INH with no tubing at all, just the black top of the capsule. Since I was outside it wasn't all that hot and my guess was the air outside cooled the vape as it was coming in.

I just needed to finish your derail stickstones :D

I don't know. I would tend to agree, but then you have vapes like the SSV and The Buddha.

Though I make MUCH easier converts to vapor with the MFLB and HI.

I got rid of my whip style vape (V-tower) for a UD and it's mostly because of that dirty whip. By the end of my V-towers stay here i exclusively used it upside down on my glass. It got to cumbersome so I picked up the UD which is waaaaay smaller but puts out bigger hits. Its just easier to have a small vape attached right to the glass then a long whip on a "bigger" vape. :2c:

You bring up an interesting point Stickstones. I hadn't thought about it much, but for me what you say is true. All my bubblers & vapes are designed to use together. With the easy hand held vapes like a log or LSV it gives me the convenience of combusting I'm looking for. I can just load a WPA of some sort and leave it sitting on the water tool. Then I can just pick up the vape and have a hit whenever. (Hazzah for 24 hour on vapes)

So yeah at least for me this is true. I can't see having a reason to attach a whip, unless I had to.

Received my Lev/M&M Tech FC bubbler yesterday. I wasn't expecting anything real special for $160.00 other than a good deal. My expectations have been blown away. The fit and finish is up there with the big names and the function is AWESOME. I didn't realize how large it was going to be -- Similar volume as a 60MM SG Natty. As others have mentioned varying the water levels lets you control diffusion and drag more than any perc I have used. (1st time with a disc style perc though.)

Variable Percolation FC bub + VXL Cloud = :clap:

Ah how pretty. Now lets see the vid of you using it. I bought one today so should have it by Friday, the solo that is. They don't tell you if it is the ceramic or the ss but I don't think I care. They do say it is the newest version but I read that the new version has both.

Edit: Didn't I just mention I have no concept of time...today is Thursday so I should have it by Tuesday I guess.

Yeah, I agree. This is the one piece I would forever be kicking myself in the ass for missing out on. Even, personal feelings aside.

I certainly don't know if I ever would have experienced a perc like this, considering there's not a lot of percs like this and the ones called "honeycombs" are typically just a flat disc, with holes drilled in them... of (fake) molded.

I noticed you're doing some sales on fb. Hope that leads to some $$$. For fb HQ glass, those are damn good prices. Especially on the larger tubes/beakers.

Can't thank you enough. Been using mine daily with the INH004. The craftsman ship is amazing. I went to a glass blowing factory once and watched them make some simple things. The time,effort, and passion you put into making these is very impressive to me. I will certainly cherish mine for years to come.

As far as fit and finish on mine. Its flawless. 0 defects, I've been using it daily.

I've been using very little water, maybe I should try some more...

Seems like quite a few people are pairing this with the solo. Any particular reason besides the solo's size? Wouldn't the difficult draw of the solo act as the deciding factor in the drag/pull?

As far as the whip vs direct draw vapes with glass, even with a "heavy hitter" like the DBV, the standard whip is far too long, and adds too much drag in general. I'll see how the DBV pairs with this piece, although I suspect something like the hi, ud, cloud, etc would perform better.

Like BDV and Lev said, there are some killer deals going on FB. Had I not picked this up, the black version would get some serious thought at the sale price. Counting down the days until I can test this beauty...

I've used it with my VB Hands Free. I actually like it quite a bit. Even the MFLB with a 1 1/2' whip is fun. I won't claim its the best piece for those. The VB pretty much likes anything, other than the 22" BDV and the MFLB other than exhausting video milk takes, wants smaller pieces. The MFLB is a DREAM with the SSFG pieces. Especially the gridded bubbler, with the WPA (which is shocking, since I don't really like the WPA. lol).
