Hi All you lovely peeps, Just found another MFLB knock off and wanted your opinions if possible.
Its on Ebay and is even called a launch Box, seems like a similar products without the engraving on the box , please check out the link.

I currently have a Solo and Love it but i thought what the hell and ordered one of these as they are cheap, will let you know how stupid or good this thing is, for the price and the fact its a knock off i would think the worst of this before the best but will give my honest opinion in the next few days .

Also i just noticed how the person on the box is smoking , strange !!!!!!

I understand in tough economic times we're all trying to get our goods for the best price, but this is just downright IP theft. These guys aren't even changing the name.
No offense to anyone who buys one but I can't help but think of the guys who invested the time and labor to innovate and come up with the MFLB, one of the smartest designed vapes ever.
They don't deserve this!
We're not a large community, but we have some buying power to withhold. I encourage FC members to respect the fine creators of the Magic Flight Launch Box, before purchasing one of these, or any knock off for that matter.

"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil..." and all that!

I agree, Adobe, but where we disagree is that I do take offense to anyone who buys a knockoff simply because I know what it takes to start up a business, go through all of the R&D and then bring a product to market followed up by marketing, advertising and good-will efforts only to have some sleazy scumbags rip off your design, and worse, in this case, rip off your name.

We, who have been part of the FC community for awhile, have witnessed all the hard work, time and effort that legit companies go through to make their products viable.

Buying a product such as this and in so doing, supporting a company such as this, to me, is tantamount to purchasing stolen equipment on the street, and to me.............that's offensive.

You asked for an opinion, Lefthook. You got it.
Am I being judgmental? You betcha.

LOL ... I do make my way up there from time to time. I think I'd better get my vaping posse together and sort these cheating mofos out :nope: :lol:

I must admit I do buy 'fake' products from China fairly regularly. I have a wonderful set of fake Ping golf clubs that have lasted a long time. However, I draw a line with vapes. IMO I have no problem doing it to big business but it is just wrong to do it to small businesses that have poured their hearts and souls into their products.

One of his other listings for the same product is titled:
"Vaporizer Flight Launch Box Quality Product Half Price of Branded.ones."
Kind of insinuating that they both came from the same factory. :doh:


Honestly with MFLB's ironclad lifetime warranty, there's really no reason not to buy the real one.

Consider that if they had the lack of oversight to put someone smoking a cig on the box of a vaporizer, imagine what kind of lack of oversight went into its production. Cheapest materials possible with next to zero accountability is not a good combination.

This goes beyond being a ripoff and is nearly a counterfeit. Ripping off a product, but trying to make improvements I think is fairgame and drives a good market (some things are patent protected and others aren't). Personally I like the MFLB better than the Palm and Palm 2.0, but I think it is okay that they make their products.

To counterfeit the product with an inferior and to try to cash in on MFLB's good name is clearly wrong.

I agree with all your comments, i have a solo and love the clean taste, i knew this company is shady but for £25 i will try it out and throw it away and let you all know how long i have left to live, my main purpose was to bring this to your attention and also start a discussion, Hence why i mention the smoker on the box. I appreciate all your comments, and you lot are really making me think should i even try this piece of shit when i get it

I wouldn't touch this with a 10ft pole sorry. Blatant rip off of the MFLB and for £30 more you can get an official MFLB with a load of accessories. Shame on this seller.

I may end up not touching it after the comments , I broke both my stems for my solo so had to spend around £50 on some new PVHES but got to wait a week for them to arrive so I am using a pipe instead and thought I might give this a go while I wait but it seems I may be better off combusting for now lol

no worries about the heat , thought that was directed towards the seller and my poor choice so nothing taken personal at all dude, i take it as a cruel to be kind thing as your looking out for my lungs lol. Where else would i get this honest feedback

Hey mate I definitely see where you were coming from. An extension of VAS could easily include this kind of oddity. Hell if someone was putting together a vaporizer museum at some point in the future It would be really interesting to have a section dedicated to fakes/counterfeits, weird vapes and those that just simply failed to work. Hope those Solo stems arrive for you soon :)

I don't think you should be judging me on this one silly purchase as that would make you look a little too judgemental and believe me i am quite a nice honest guy who does not normally buy knockoffs but needed a quick fix without spending too much , an mflb is £80 here in the uk and this was £25 so i thought what the hell while i wait for my solo stems to arrive as i broke them all. Sorry for offending you , did not realise one mistake could make you feel that strongly. i posted here for opinions as i thought i had made a mistake and you guys would tell me straight. Which you did

Thanks dude and i hope they get here soon too as my lungs are taking it which is not good

I wasn't judging you, Lefthook. I was judging your action. One bad decision does not make one a bad person. Hell, if that were the case, I wouldn't be able to look at myself in the mirror in the mornin'.
