I know absolutely nothing about cirque de soleil---until your post I thought they did one show and now I see that they have
many many shows. Is their style massive sets and elaborate costumes and big video screens???

I saw LOVE back in 2007(?!), can't really believe it is still going. But it was a month-old IIRC; crazy props, good sound systems, it even had smell-o-vision! So lame, so they might have killed it. If you follow your plan right and it'll be an experience. I really liked the evening at the time.

The Fremont thing lends itself to edibles, flowers, mushrooms, peyote... It is eye-candy w/tunes and while cool, it's something to do along with other activities/plans imo. Not an event in and of itself if that makes sense. But hell, this is all a long time ago and I'm sure the show, strip and everything has been redone, updated and supersized since then. Just thinking of all the new tech in the last decade, it's all bound to be better. You'll have to come back and write a report for us, give us your take!

Is there decent public transportation from downtown/Fremont St area to the Convention Center and the Strip?
Bus or shuttles? Or should one plan on Uber?

I thought the same thing as that lightshow and music seem like they'd be enhanced on edibles

Yeah buddy! I don't remember that part (transpo) but it's Vegas baby, they'll have thought of it all. TBH, the strip, casinos and all the shows/attractions, absolutely all of it is enhanced by cannabis in all its forms. The only other time I've been to Sin City was 91-92 IIRC, for a trio of afternoon Grateful Dead shows. We'd go back to the hotel, shower off the desert and just wander. Still high on lsd and smoking lotsa kind bud discreetly and as wisely as we could under the circumstances, but with no problems and that was ages ago. The cops were absolutely not interested in busting easygoing deadheads spending money in their town. All the casinos were extra-lively for those 3 days, and I'll never forget how trippy all the hotel/casino carpets were. By 2007, Vegas had been focused on all the other things/attractions to do beyond gambling. Now with legal herb, it's a proper stoner's playground. I'm sure you'll have a fucking blast, no matter.

Usually I stay at Courtyard by Marriott, and pre-book or ask for an "outward facing balcony" when arrive. This gives me a lil balcony where I can sit and medicate(weather permitting), and at minimum, I know I can open the sliding glass door to help "aerate" the room if need be.

Also, most places nowadays have an automatic coffee maker and some complimentary grindz in each room. Make some to help mask any malodorous scents.



You really roll all the way to LV for vape pens?? Can't you use vape pens in Minnesota already? Seems kinda lame to me. You can do vape pen medicating anywhere. Fuck vape pens man!!!! Not too mention how many companies use flower that would never see the light of day on the dispensary shelves to make "distallate" carts.

Buy grams of C02 oil(already decarbed and ready to dab,eat) and scarf one gram a day one your trip. Eat lots of exotic medibles and drink some Keef Kolas(or the Las Vegas equivalent), get some Foria for the misses(Foria Pleasure is a therapeutic oil designed to enhance female pleasure and is made with all natural liquid coconut oil (MCT) and purified pharmaceutical-grade cannabis oil.)
How about get some mystables/inhaleables/tinctures?

Might as well hit up Applebees, Olive Garden, and McDonalds while on the strip too.(Yes sarcasm, but I only use it to fuel you to not do the "lame" choice of vape carts.)

What about buy a knockoff, mini, Nectar Collector, tiny torch(triple flame butane lighter will work fine) and some FIRE ass concentrates that you would normally never spend the money on. Simple and somewhat stealthy if in hotel room or parked car(no driving).

Why make this post if you're gonna do the same stuff as everybody else and vape the same lame pen carts?



PS--Go to the drive-thru and pick up some cannbis

Many of us in non-legal locations have never tried a standard e-cig/vape pen with a distillate cart. So while I agree with your premise that seems to be "If you're going to a really great exotic candy store why would you buy a Hershey Bar"..... To some of us without any candy stores a Hershey Bar is a treasure . Speaking of Hershey Bars...I also picked up some chocolate bar edibles while in Vegas because I never tried edibles either The next time I'm in Vegas I'll have to give your suggestions a shot!

Any experience with dispensaries in /near Fremont St experience?

I find many of those free bike stations in downtown area but none on the Strip so no place to check bike back in.
Looks like bus and monorail are available.

I suppose Uber too.

We used mostly Lyft & Uber last year. There are some free shuttles, usually between hotels of the same owner.

Bus # 3 used to travel the strip and end a block or so from Fremont Street. You could get a day pass, I remember.
