Well said, Jeff.
FOX is on the far right. MSNBC is on the far left. And CNN has tried to walk the line between the two, being moderate, but in so doing, has become a dull shade of gray. So, if one really wants to stay in tune with what going on in the world, but desires to get all of their news on CATV, one has to watch a bit of FOX and a bit of MSNBC, with a sprinking of CNN, and then when one gets fed up with all the bullshit, tune into a REAL news program............The Daily Show with John Stewart .
Funny. The one thing that Stewart does really well is to capture all these little sound bites of the day from the news channels listed above and use them to make ANYONE look like a total bumbling idiot with his current favorite target being FOX news.
I don't think a news channel can survive on debates alone, but I sure as hell would like to see more of them.
