La Mixette ordering from official site

Hi guys, anybody here ever ordered from the official La mixette website? It's based in France it seems.
I've seen some people mentioning it, wondering how and when they got them.

I have ordered that 3-pack of mixettes on 13th March on the website and only got the automatic "order received" email... no shipping confirmation, no tracking link, no response from the seller (the contact form is only way as far as I can see), seen it charged correctly on the credit card. I'm from Europe.

What I basically wanna know is, is this website still in business or did I throw my money away? Did anybody order and what are your experiences?
It looks legit and all (design is wild tho') but no communication to customer after taking money is kind of weird...
Any information is welcome...
Thanks

Back when I worked with card processing, you were not allowed to charge the card until the items had shipped. That was in North America, but I'd be surprised if Europe did not have regulations at least as strong.

Yea, it seems weird... the site looks legit, firm has legal representation and all... but why no communication to customer is beyond me... I guess I will have to wait a bit while sending a few more messages to them.
If it doesn't arrive or I get a normal response in a week, looks like I will have to call my bank to fix this...

I've ordered a few times but not for a couple of years. Certainly legit then. I think you are ok.
Alright, I'll give them more time then, thanks for the information my friend.

How do you like your mixettes? do they still hold up years later?

No problem.

I really like them. I have 1 small and 2 large and they are still in great condition.

Useful for emptying a grinder onto and then pouring into a storage jar or just for keeping stuff on until needed.

Yea, gonna have the same use case probably, maybe filling tempest bowl additionally.

Do you by any chance remember if you got a tracking link with your orders? Or did it just arrive in mail without tracking?

thanks

I bought in 2022 so can't remember but I don't think so. I think it was the same experience as you.

I paid via pp to NOW so I guess you have pp protection.
I found this in the web site. Maybe it's helpful?

If the Buyer wishes to contact the company NØW, it can do so either by mail to the following address: NØW (Iron Workshop) Ferdinand Fert Street, ZA Les Laurons, 26110 Nyons (France); either by email at the following address: vincenrubin[at]gmail[dot]com, or by phone at +336 8214 0758.

Edit: I have found my email trail. I emailed v rubin as I too didn't receive anything. He replied promptly with an apology and provided tracking a few days later. Good luck

ahh - excellent news, thank you very much. I was kinda acting patient , trying not to contact the legal person because of trivial reasons (such as my impatience)

I will wait a few more days, maybe it arrives...and if not I will contact the Vincent Rubin, legal guy.

thank you very much mr Chicken No name, this helped a lot!

have a good day!

I ordered one like a year ago and it came but late even if I live in France. I ordered a second one like 6 months ago and never received it, never got an answer to my emails. I also did something wrong manipulating paypal and didn't get a refund either. Avoid these guys or buy it from a retailer shop.

Ordered some time ago and was satisfied with it. The Mixette is still in good shape after a couple of years of use.
More recently tried to contact them to ask if the website was still working but never got any response.

Yes the product is good but not sending the product and not answering mails is a no no.
I received 1/2 and someone else says he gets no answer too. Also the first time it was very late for domestic shipping , I wrote them too and got no answer too. I started a dispute on pp and then received it like 3 weeks after the order and cancelled the dispute. Also both times there was no confirmation email for the order.
If you like lotto or roulette and feel lucky you can play of course. For me at least you answer the mails even late when you sell products online. Especially if they say the product was not received.
If you have issues or have to take a break you deactivate the payments/ordering function. It's not just cheap vendor bashing, It's easy to prove also. They are retailers also where I bought the big one... so I'm pretty cool and don't call for boycotting theyre stuff but their site

Looks like that is standard business practice for them then...unfortunately...but I really don't get why they would have a website that automatically accepts orders and charges people if they don't plan to fulfil the orders...

I will wait till Monday working hours and try again via email, then I'll send via WhatsApp also... After that no choice but to involve paypal or my credit card processor.

Too bad that I can't get to any of their retailers to get a few...
