Here's a new vape I stumbled across. Looks to be made by the SmokeWorms people who make smoking accessories (low fi glass vapes, glass blunts, etc). The vape looks like it's in between a beta and a final product-looks wise, but I'm not counting it out yet! (Closest thing would be the Indica in style I guess?) Here it is:

Here's the details ripped straight from their site:
I wanted a vaporizer that would be super discreet and as simple as possible to use. Something I could operate from my pocket and take out only when ready to inhale from. So after many years, stresses, and prototypes, I came up with something that I want to use every (and all) day.
Here are some of the main features:
- One button operation. Simply press to heat.
- Vibrating feedback. Discreetly lets you know when the vaporizing temperature has been reached. Which allows you to vape anywhere. Even with your hand in your pocket! No need guess when its ready. (quick demonstration video, you might need to turn up your volume -
)
- Magnetic doors allow you to quickly swap out the batteries and your loose leaf material, allowing you to keep a constant vaping session. (another video; regular volume
)
- Ceramic heating element designed to provide a mix of convective and conductive heating. The heating unit draws outside air through channels around the ceramic box, and within it. This cools the unit while heating the air which is channeled to the loose leaf material.
- AA batteris are small, readily available. Two NiMH Powerex 2700mAh pack enough energy to keep this vaporizer running for more than enough of cycles to last a day (stats and graphs coming).
Having the ability to swap out batteries was a priority for this vaporizer. Having a surprise dead battery and having to wait for a recharge can be catastrophic/inconvenient. With the Kram Vaporizer you can quickly swap batteries and keep on vaping. (Tip: Put the dead batteries to charge when you take the charged ones so that you can continuously vape forever!).
Additional Features:
- Vaporizing temperatures in under 20 seconds on charged batteries (under ~30 seconds as batteries near empty).
- The ceramic heating element is encased in a double-walled CNC-machined ceramic housing, which is encased in a cast food-grade silicone rubber bucket, which is further encased in the stainless steel case.
- All materials, from the stainless steel case to the ceramic heating element and food-grade silicone rubber have been carefully selected to to ensure a pure vaporizing experience.
To Use:
Press and hold the button. You will feel pulsed vibrations as the vaporizer heats up.
Once the vibration goes steady, the vaporizing temperature has been reached. Let go of the button. Inhale.
Press the button again. If it is still vibrating steady, wait a bit longer. Inhale again perhaps. If it is pulsing, press and hold until it vibrates steady again.
Inhale and repeat.
Your vaporizer will be calibrated to vibrate steady when it reaches ~375F. You can vary that temperature with the included tool by turning the internal screw a quarter turn at a time (clockwise to increase) until it vibrates steady at your desired temperature.
It is important to note that as long as the button is pressed, heat is being applied. This gives you more control as you can ignore the vibration steady alert and keep heating allowing you to find the ideal vapor temp for the specific herb you are using. You will quickly get the hang of it and be able to perfectly control the vapor density to your liking.
Cleaning is not necessary with regular loose leaf use. But for any neat freaks, a soft bristled cleaning brush will be included.
Includes:
- (1) Kram Vaporizer
- (2) Glass Stems (with fitted screen)
- (4) NiMH Powerex AA Batteries
- (1) NiMH AA Battery Charger
- (1) Adjustment Tool
- (1) Cleaning Brush
Some pics:
Looks to be American made which is a plus, even if we are getting more acceptable portables out of China this year! The vibrating feature seems like it could be annoying or innovative, glad to see new features nonetheless!
Edit: The aesthetics have grown on me a little too. May be a great vape to make a leather case for with just the top level with the bowl and mouthpiece areas sticking out?
