I'd love to hear more about the Koil Boi (I don't have one), but I love my Brute. I had a HotShot before, and I fucked it up by taking out the battery (thought I had to for TSA, but you really don't since it's not designed to be "removable"), losing the battery, and then replacing it with a new one that I installed incorrectly. Anyway the Brute is perfect for the standard Titanium tip. The Brute takes you right upto but not at combustion. 2 cycles will clear it, a third my risk combustion. Anyway I love the Brute, big powerful hits if you respect the click. If you inhale while heating you can stop whenever you like (before the click) for nice low temp hit. The Hotshot was smaller and lighter()just enough to really make it comfortable to pocket, about the size of a pack of cigarettes and I loved the little door coving the chamber, BUT, the door was delicate, and so was the micro-usb. The Brute has an amazing case that is a bit larger but it's basically indestructable, the barrel port charger is old school as well but Pipes gives you a wall wart AND a usb to barrel port cable, and a nice carry case.
