What is this fold and peel method you speak of
@2clicker
its basically folding the blob of oil/liner in half like paper. then you rip the sides apart and the oil will only stay stuck to one side. then repeat until you have it all in one manageable chunk.
with limited time to reply here thats the best i can describe it right now. im sure there are videos of this somewhere. ill look tonight and post it up if i find one.
EDIT* so i looked quickly and there were no videos of this which surprises me. so i will attempt to explain it a different way.
say you are staring at a 10"x10" sheet of sliksheet. of which has 2g of shatter on it untouched from its now evaporated state. the bulk of your return is in the middle (i would hope) of this sheet (could also be parchment). so because of that we want to fold this sheet down the middle. this will also fold two layers of oil onto themselves just like the sheet itself. i like to smash them together a bit to really get them to stick to each other. so now the oil is basically half the diameter it was, but twice as thick. from there you quickly separate the two sides. this will leave most if not all of the return on one side. you have successfully performed the "fold and peel". just keep doing that until you have it down to a size you like to work with. after doing it a couple of times its pretty easy.
a couple of tips for this if you are having trouble.
1. fold slow and peel fast. dont get crazy with the peel or you could toss your return across the room. nice controlled quick peel and youre golden.
2. if the oil gets warm enough it wont peel as well and may get stringy. if this happens just fold again and place it in the freezer for 30 secs or so. then peel. it will come right off.
hope that helps! i know someone around here doing a run soon could shoot a quick video...?
