Right, you said you used a NuWavePIC2 instead of double boiler...so did you take your pyrex with QWKX solution and put that directly on an adapter plate on the Nuwave? (since it's induction you have to have the adapter I suppose unless you put your QWKX solution onto something that is magnetic).

A is pull and snap at room temp and B+C are harder than wax and clearer but darker and softer than shatter.
As I said in my notes earlier I didin't notice any significant terpene loss.

I lined my pyrex with Parchment paper and froze for 15 minutes. Chipped off in think chunks.

Thanks, I've been pretty impressed with the outcome although disappointed at the yield. My sidekick is insistent on doing his own runs with 99% ISO and the ground up remains so maybe he can increase the return a bit.

Heating element. I doubt 100% of it was transferred to the pyrex since it was on a grill pan.
Approximately 1-1/2 to 2 hours.

I knew that the heat isn't transferred 100% but when ppl say heat it up 98f-110f I never really knew if it was the heating element that should be that temp or the oil.
Anyway thanks for clearing that up for me.
Well I just revived my gallon of KX yesterday in 4 one quart containers. Not gonna lie it looks like some dude just printed a sticker n slapped it on a bottle lol but I hope it works out.
So what do u guys think is the optimal time for the wash?

I'd say do as @2clicker suggested and go with the skunkpharm instructions for QWET...so I'd say about 2.5 to 3 minute wash (and honestly, just look back at what @063_XOBX did with his QWKX run...and those pics....mmmhmmm, golden goodness 
). It seems the KX magic comes with how clean it evaps from what the maestros whom have used the KX have reported.

Thanks for the suggestion @CrazyDiamond. I ended up doing a 10 min wash as suggested by that video linked to that site. I've seen the results for the qwet tek now I'm interested in these results the liquid looked nice n golden. It's been evaporating for about an hour now. I can't wait to see the end result. I'll post results when I can
Update: First wash was .8g's it's a pull snap consistency at room temp. 14% return on one wash is pretty good but I'm goin to bed ill do other washes n post pics later but so far so good.

Getting ready to do a KX run today. Gonna run 10g Pineapple Kush top shelf nugs. I'm also gonna run 10g of the same flowers with Capital n-butane. Direct comparison between both methods. Is there any opinion on purging liquid KX on a silicone slick mat?
I have purged everclear on parchment... not a silicone mat, but as long as the mat is undamaged there shouldnt be any reaction.
Ok I guess I will "test in an inconspicuous area"

Just finished B and C wash. B was a 5 min wash and C was a 3 min wash. I ended up combining the two washes. These two look a to have a slight green tint but still golden too. Well it's evaping now in Pyrex lined with parchment paper. Also on a hot plate (250f) with a fan blowing on it. I think I'm going to have have a pretty good yeild in the end

the mfgs of these silicone pads will not recommend evaping ethanol from their pads. this is because of the b rating they get in regards to chem compatibility. something about slight discoloration and degradation can occur, but lots of users here have done it w/out any problems.
