Just converted 2 more people to te jyarz family, gave out one for my companies secret Santa and she absolutely loves it! More importantly I finally converted my mom into mmj to help her back. Just got back from her first trip to the legal weed shops and she's about to order 7-8 jyarz, she loved them before she even liked weed.

Funny stuff. Actually no....JyARz is a reference to occean jyres where ocean trash is swirling around and causing all kinds of environmental mayhem. Part of the idea of JyARz (in addition to the fact that 1% of sales goes to ocean plastic trash research...say that 10 times fast) is that they are modular, so you never through out the plastic shell (which itself is made from 100% recycled milk jugs) so by buying a JyAR you are inadvertently helping our oceans ;-) ...we've recently gave another $500 to Algalita.org (few weeks ago) thanks to all of your consistent support....when I say support I mean it in more ways than one..I thank you and our oceans thank you ;-)

Frankly I've done a pretty crappy job of publicizing our environmental mission but in '16 I plan to spend more time on that part of this business. I think there should be much more awareness of the issue...case in point:

I'm sad, one of my satchmos is not sealing properly: instead of the lid screwing on securely, it gets somewhat tight and then the thread seems to slip and the lid loosens again. My batch of master kush dried out really quickly. @JyARz do you have any troubleshooting suggestions? The threads look to be intact, I've never dropped the satchmo, and I don't know why this suddenly started recently.

Aldo I want to thank you. If that money is indeed actually going to help clean our oceans and promote awareness that would be awesome. We humans don't even think of the repercussions of throwing out trash. We must all come together as one and unite to help keep our planet happy.
I have a few jyarz and they are AWESOME
Best sto rage ever. I actually opened a classic recently ,which is my favorite for ground herb on the go ,and found a mystery bud!not sure what is was but the jyar preserved it perfectly !!!I vaped some and holy cow!!!vapor on vapor
Any bogo deals going on ?love to buy some for friends or...well I guess I don't have that many people to gift
More for me haha.
Oh and a few of my classics have this nasty smell to them coming from the seal. Like its so bad I don't want to put material on there. How can I fix ?

I'm between a chico and the classic for holding kief that builds up in my grinder. I don't produce kief in mass, but would like to start harvesting it from my grinder over time. Right now the damn thing is all clogged with kief. Such a problem to have... Oy Vey
If I leave it in the form of dry sift kief, is the curved bottom of the chico any better or not than the flat bottom of the classic size?

I have to read the lastest post cause i have to know what is the problem now but before read the last pages i just want to say and sorry about this but you sent me like 2 months ago more or less the gaskets replacements for my classic's cause i told you like other people, the classic's had a bit of plastic smell and you changed the material of the gaskets, do you remember right ?
Well , now , plastic odor disappeared inside classic's , ok , but it has appeared the smell of weed, so... now the sealing is not appropriate!! I have all my classic's (9) , chico's (2) and satchmo's (3) in a box , when you open the box , VOILA! You can smell the potent weed that is inside the jyARz's , this happens since you sent me that New material gaskets replacements , and i changed each one.
IS THIS HAPPENS TO OTHER PEOPLE?
I repeat , i don't read the forum from time ago and right now i'll read lastest pages i didnt read, but i wanted first to write this.
I hope you Aldo can do something about cause i don't feel good when my wife has in her handbag a little Classic jyarz and smells completly the handbag.
I think each one of us ,all, we are jyarz , be cause we like jyarz and we like the Aldo's idea to save the world.

I'm not sure I'm entirely following. How about you give me a call and we can talk. There's one thing I know, JyARz are highly smell proof so something odd is happening here. But let's get to the bottom of it.
One thing I have seen are instances where people forget that they are touching the contents with their hands and then the close the JyAR and as a result the OUTSIDE of the container is now "contaminated." Please make sure you are keeping the outside of the JyAR clean and also look for anything lodged on the gasket in the cap that might be preventing a seal.
I use JyARz myself...rather extensively...and if there's one thing I know it's that they are highly smell proof...that was a major motivation for designing them in the first place!
