There's no way those hold a oz of oil. Also pretty sure you cant compare volume to mass like that. Density of the material is key here. A fluid oz of water for example would weigh about 30 grams.

That said, I doubt these Jyarz hold 22.5 grams of eerl.

This might help, I have a no-goo container that is ~2/3 full right now and the shattery material therein weighs 3.5 grams exactly. Estimate the volume of a nogoo container and that might be a place to start with the math.

Wax will be different as it has to weigh less than shatter. Heck, density between shatters will make a difference. But it's all an estimate, right;-)

The change happened a long time ago, from Latex to Buna-N/Nitrile rubber. I believe Latex allergies were the reason.

I'm still hoping for a Silicone option because I can smell the others. Any closer to finding the right material @JyARz ?

I can understand changing due to allergies but the old gaskets really imparted no odor to the product what- so-ever. If you Don't stick the cap under your nose and snort you can't smell it, Can you ?

I have 8 Jyarz. One with the old yellowish gasket and the others with the newer version. None if them smell any longer.

I have no issues with smell either. I left it open to air out and after your first filling of the jyar it gets "seasoned" and smells like

Yes... I don't have to be quite that close to smell it. I've aired out both Latex and Buna gaskets for many weeks with no improvement. I blame my nose, not the rubber or the product. What we smell and taste is probably the most subjective thing we discuss here, keep that in mind. My sense of taste is very sensitive, maybe I'm a super-taster... I don't know. I do recall a few others saying the smell doesn't go away, so I'm not alone, but I know I'm only one of a few. If only I would have jumped a little faster when Aldo had a few silicone gasket samples to give out.

Yeah it's not really an odor that airs out sorta speak but it does seem to diminish if you use the JyARz for it's intended purpose, I can sniff on mine now and I 'hardly' smell 'em but like you said we aren't all the same.

No. You can just use the shipping option in the check-out process.

I'm sorry that I don't have more of them to give you. I'll continue looking for a completely odor free gasket though I'm not sure such thing exists. Again if anyone has a recommendation for a Teflon silicone provider I'd be intetrested.

I need to figure out why it does that with the shipping confirmation, we ship as fast as possible but not that fast ;-)

Any discount on the new products? Either way I'll be picking up a couple Satchmo's. Been waiting for the bigger containers!

I get this message when I try to place my order:

Unfortunately there is no Shipping Rate available for your destination and/or weight of your cart.

My destination is Spain and my cart includes 2 x satchmo, 3 x classical (2 of them french cannoli....BTW no bulk discount with them) and 1x insert.

Hope you can fix it. I'd rather buy directly from you instead of adding another company to the transaction.

Just another thing about the cannolis: I like all the insert designs, but only two of the container designs. Maybe you could consider making them interchangeable, or sell the etched inserts with normal containers or w/o any container.
