I can attest to the fact that you can keep preground bud in the Jyarz for a retardedly long time with little degradation of smell, moisture, or potency. I went 2 months once and the bud was just as good as I remembered it to be.

JyARz is the release date for the concentrate containers the same as the large containers?
"...retardedly long time..." too funny!
Right now both products are on the same schedule ...Aprilish '14. I just spoke to my CAD/Injection mold expert today to make another tweak to the concentrate version. I found a slight flaw in it after continued use so that might slow things down a few days but not much.
Thanks for your patience!
Jyarz all day! I couldn't open my tightvacs due to resin build up
......had to iso them regularly until the seal failed.... I used to like them until Jyarz landed. Get a Jyar!
Thanks bro!
...really appreciate your support and kind words!
nothing scientific here, but my jyarz seem to keep the smell in better than my c-vaults, for those interested.
Candidly I'm not sure why the seals are so damn effective, I think it's a combination of the glass/gasket interface which is itself inside another sealed container. I think it's a "double wall" thing. There was some luck involved there but I'll take good luck...The new designs although different to an extent also feature this double wall characteristic so I've found (using prototypes) the same level of un-stank with the new designs as well.
I use a tightvac container, its bloody epic, super easy to open and close and once closed the bud is in a jar with actual negative air pressure, this keeps all the smells inside, and keeps the bud super fresh. You can buy sold black ones so the light stays out also.
I cant beleive how long i used shitty recycled jam jars or ziplock bags to store my weed, this container for 15$ is all ill ever need. These jarzy look good and in no way am i trying to shit on them, i just want to tell people about the tightvac with out making another thread.
You can buy huge ones too if you roll that hard, or micro ones or medium ones, mine stores about a half once, seriously awesome, check them out!
I won't comment on tightvacs specifically. For me I created JyARz because I wanted a safer, eco-friendly GLASS container. From a materials perspective glass is an incredible material. Its inert and doesn't absorb or emit/"gas out" which makes a great storage vessel. In addition, it's infinitely resuable and recyclable ... extremely eco-friendly. I believe we will come to recognize the limitations, environmental and health related issues associated with storing "consumables" in plastic. Frankly, it's nasty stuff and if you do a simple search on "ocean plastic trash" I think any casual observer will be horrified by what happens when plastic ends up in the ocean.
So if you care about what goes into your body, what goes into our environment I think you'll see the virtues of glass. Other containers may perform as well as JyARz but both perform as well and as are eco-friendly.
Thanks @
Mister G just trying to spread the fc love and help out anyone who hasn't tried these awesome stash jars. These things really do feel indestructible, I've tossed one in the air so many times in our cement warehouse. Just to prove the point to a coworker I gave one to. Up to about 10 feet, it does have a very slight ding in the cap now.... Awesome
And just a heads up I shipped out 2 more today... Only a pink one left if anyone wants it to start
My brother....JyARz are tough but I didn't design them to take those kind of falls. They'll be alright most of the time but definitely not guaranteed at that elevation!
We'll actually have some news fairly soon about a new glass option for the current "Classic JyAR" design...still in the works but coming down the pike here pretty soon.
