Hey there, I am new to using domeless nails and don't know how to get the most efficient rip yet from my new cosmic setup. I wanted to make a post here to see if someone could give me advice on this since there are not really any videos on youtube on the best way to use the three hole carbcap. I may consider sending this carbcap back if possible and get the HE cap since I'm sure it fits on the 14mm Cosmic domeless nail.

There are three basic ways to use the carb cap.
Method one, drop your bhomb just colder than you're used to, cap. Works okay, improvement but nothing drastic.
Method two, let your nail cool for a good ten seconds at least, experimenting until you find the right heat for you and your nail. My preferred method, good flavor and smoothness and improved potency.
Method three, start with your dab on a cold nail, cap it, head with a low flame on the torch until vapor just starts to exit the holes, inhale, reapplying heat as needed. Best method, but requires practice and IMO some goddamn witch craft because I cannot for the life of me get it down.
You're cosmic carb cap will not function significantly differently to the HE cap, though the HE might be better. I have a clone of the HE and have never seen Cosmics offering in person so I cannot be sure.

I personally can't see how a three hole could be superior to a one hole. Part of the beauty of the carb cap is that it restricts airflow. I don't know if you're familiar with electronic cigarettes much, but we have the same issue. Too much air makes the hit poor, too little and it suffocates and burns. The clones are running for $35 in most local headshops.
That video is actually why I dab that way, when I do. Personally, I go mid temp (an exaggerated method two involving heating both the cap and nail at the same time), method two, most of the time
