JCVAP "Pockety"

I think jcvap might just be a tiny bit bigger from memory or just about identical.
Are you still using your peak more than your pockety think I saw you comment that somewhere? And if so why is that, is the pockety atomizer not supposed to be "better"?

After watching Troy and Jerry review the herb cloud, in my altered state, I ordered a new pockety (my OG is on loan to a buddy), with the HerbCloud chamber. I just ripped through my third bowl. i have the quartz version and am using without the dosing capsule. I'm really impressed at how quickly this destroys a bowl. I realized not to over pack it to keep from scorching the top, and it will clear a bowl in just a couple of hits. Its still a bit clunky, and it wont be my daily driver at home, but to finally be able to travel with one device that does both concentrates and herb, through water, better than "faily well" for about $150 or so...I'm very happy.

Been a long time since i used mine, what temps do people tend to use in Fahrenheit? Thank you

465° F for me, primarily rosin.
How much clouds do you get for that temp? I run mine at 535 with the quartz bowl to get light vapor, also primarily rosin and when I run at 465F on my pockety it produce not vapor or taste, all it does is melt my rosin. Could this be normal at this temp or is my unit faulty?

I also run mine around 535-540f with the ruby, 465f seems real low

Thank you for the reply! Glad to know that it’s in normal temp range, I’ve only been using it for a week and so far, I am really impressed with the pockety, coming from a enail banger set up for years.

I’ve been discussing this for a number of months with other users, and someone who is contact with jcvap believes the newest version of the base unit (from what I was told there are currently 3), has an issue with temp control.

Similar to others in this thread, I’m around 510-545 with the diamondium insert, but get similar results with ruby and quartz. When I measure temp, I see a significant difference between set temp and measured temp. Over 50F difference. JCVAP sent me a second insert, a second base, and I purchased numerous atomizers/heaters for the insert. There’s def QC issues with the atomizers but routinely ppl with v2 or older bases seem to get closer temps to what they set.

Hi, thank you for this, I do noticed the temps at anything below 510 doesn’t vaporize the wax very well, I thought it was odd since in my erig, the temp range would be around 450-475 when I dab, but with the pockety, I need to crank it to 530+ to get the results, and it does it very well at these temps. I will try to contact jcvap and send videos about this issue though.

I have the quartz insert only as of right now with the aln and diamondium on the way to try.
